We chose Whitney Place primarily because the staff are so attentive and responsive and because the community is in my loved one's hometown. The facility itself is very well-kept and we like the fact that it is a small, compact facility.

Our problem there was office staff. The people working with my mother were excellent. But office staff never responded to voicemails. They come in a 11am and I don't know when they left. I tried to contact [name removed] several times to no avail. The person answering the phone, after I told her my mother had died and I needed to talk to [name removed] didn't offer condolences. When I told her it would be nice if, in the future she did, she said she wasn't that kind of person.
