The community is small and inviting- cozy. Staff and residents alike are welcoming and function like family. Administration is kind and accommodating. Though our time there was brief, my dad was well cared for while there, and loved being in an environment and a community that felt more like being at home than being in a nursing home.

Bellwood is a nice assisted living facility. Very clean and they cared so much for my mom as it was a life changing experience for her and we were both emotional. I would recommend this facility to family and friends. I want to especially thank the fabulous ladies at a place for mom who helped us get her in so quickly!

A smaller facility has advantages. If the location fits (acceptable) then Bellwood is a good option. The high cost of available places put us at Bellwood, but they have been great.

Mom was very hesitant as she is shy but the staff is very friendly and are there to assist and talk with residents. Mom is doing great moving around more, making friends and can really see a difference in her overall.

When necessary, communication is good. The facility is clean. My loved one says her meals are fine. She hasn't had cable since she moved in. [name removed] responds quickly to my texts. Overall, yes I would recommend it. There are no frills etc. but my loved one seems to be adjusting. She is more in tune with what's going on than some of the other residents, but she seems to be adjusting fairly well. One thing to note, they do not offer transportation and do not have a gym per se, for therapy and exercise.

They were fantastic at working on short notice and gave me time to work on financing, and it was close to my home. That facility is clean. It's cost effective vs. other facilities and the staff are informative, helpful and really friendly. I would recommend to other families.

It's not fancy but it's newly renovated, gorgeous country scenery, and the sweetest staff. [name removed] is an excellent administrator! It's the perfect place for someone who thrives in a smaller, and quieter setting. The rooms are small, but well kept. One of the best things about Bellwood is how well the staff gets to know the residents and their families. I couldn't have asked for better communication. Other facilities have been "too busy" or "too short staffed" but never an issue at Bellwood.

There is rennovation in one section but it is clean. They have hired new people. They have yoga, music and bingo for the activities. It is a small community which is nice. The location is very convenient, and really close. It's about 30 minutes from mom. Overall, I love the area.

I will update give a 4 A place for mom was wonderful and so helpful. Bellwood was nice, has several times when my moms room a board was raised to up to [fee removed] on top of the choices benefit . Although they are making improvements I visited weekly and the staff was great the place is very run down , they state a butterfly garden I don't believe that exists . All in all the staff made her journey a great one, but many improvements needed and [name removed] one of staff members was really doing her best to brighten it up.

Bellwood Assisted Living was chosen from a list of three in the Lebanon area. Bellwood is relatively small (a plus) and was more affordable than others. The facility is clean, the meals are reportedly tasty, and the staff is easy to work with.

I would say that you get what you pay for. It's a small facility and inadequate if your loved one needs more than medication management. The staff is very caring, but their hands are tied due to the age and budget of the facility.

My relative was a patient there for years before his passing. I saw how well he was cared for. That was the main reason we chose Bellwood. They are wonderful about keeping family informed about patient issues and updates. The only real negatives were that patients did not have call buttons and there were no automatic doors for patients..

Professional, clean but a bit expensive., i.e., patients families must provide all snacks, laundry detergents, personal hygiene products but overall excellent.Staff was wonderful.

We have had a good experience at Bellwood Assisted Living. Their staff is great - very patient and caring. And very attentive to the residents' needs.

The staff does a good job with what they are provided. I do think that the food variety could be improved and more activities would be nice.

My mom was only at Bellwood for a few weeks before having to move to a nursing home. Staff was very helpful and communicated very well. Overall would recommend for value and caring staff

What we like about Bellwood Assisted Living is that it is close by and affordable, and based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend this community to others

We all seem to like the staff members working at the Bellwood Assisted Living community. Some areas of improvement would be more with the transportation options and modern updates/ brighten up the facility etc.

Depressing, dark, inside and out was in terrible disrepair. had septic issues weekly, urine puddles on floor and left for days. The shower room was covered in mold and mildew and was slippery. very few staff in general, but several cussed like sailors and one regularly greeted residents by simply sticking her tongue out at them. There was never an administrator on site. When I complained to the administrator, she told the staff member who we complained about and they came to my mother screaming in her face about her complaints. regular techs were passing meds with no nurse on duty, which is illegal in tn. Need list want updated for months at a time. New Dr orders were rarely followed. One tech told me she was substituting one patients pain meds for another resident because that resident was out of theirs. My mom fell several times with no notice to me and no incident report done.

Small facility. No way for the resident to communicate or alert the staff if there is an emergency (accidental fall or otherwise) until they check on them, once every couple of hours, if you’re lucky. If you call in the evenings, you will not get an answer, which is a problem if there is an emergency with your loved one. The only reason for a two star review on the staff, instead of one star is because a couple of the techs are so very kind and caring. They are definitely the exception, not the rule. Disappointed with the communication with the director and staff. If you have another option, please take it.
