Highly Recommended

I would highly recommend Farmington Presbyterian Manor. The Meals were kind of bad, but they are improving. The kitchen staff definitely need to wash their hands after using the restroom. I happened to be standing outside a couple of times when kitchen staff went in and used the toilet and flushed it... without washing their hands.

Excellent Healthcare Community

Salina Presbyterian Manor has been such a blessing to my mom. There is no other community I wanted my mom to be in as she was showing signs of dementia and I knew she would decline over the years and would have to eventually have to move for more care. Mom has been in the Manor for 2.5 years and has always been treated with the upmost respect and dignity. She started her journey in the Assisted Living unit where the staff were excellent and would always show their love for her. She was always involved in many activities and loved exercise class. One of her favorites was the buggy rides around the pond. When it was time for her to move to the healthcare side, it was so incredibly easy as the staff moved all of her furniture and all I had to do was just be with her to help with the transition. She has flourished! She was welcomed with lots of love and very attentive staff, they have been nothing short of amazing!!

A Great Place for Mom

My loved one is a resident at Topeka Presbyterian Manor. This facility is great! The staff navigated some difficult situations upon the arrival of my loved one and for the following weeks. They worked really hard to meet our needs. I toured several facilities and Topeka Presbyterian was our top choice. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Friendly staff!

My friend who is a resident there can be a very difficult person but Presbyterian Manor loves on him anyways. If we could give the friendliness of the staff 10 stars we would! When it comes to the meals prepared, my friend just wants hotdogs delivered to his room for every meal and Presbyterian Manor cheerfully does it. For the activities, my friend was going to refuse to join in anything, but they somehow got him to join the art show.

I've had a good experience with the community. I would recommend to others to make sure you understand all the levels of care. Please make sure to ask about how independent living works when the resident needs a nursing/medical procedure for an immediate injury.

A great community to live in

Our dear friend is still settling in, but so far the feedback she has given me is that she is very happy there. This community is exactly what she was looking for, especially for the price. She says the meals are absolutely awesome, but wishes she had a little bit more floor space in the apartment for elderly living. She loves the cottage style living and especially all of the windows in the building. She is legally blind but is still able to see the sunlight from her apartment.

Great place for mom.

This facility was amazing, the housekeeping was great and they were so nice. Every person here helped with the care of your loved one. The dining area was very nice, the food was good and they had a variety with each meal. They had a nice outside area and it was a safe environment for the residence. Once a month they would take everyone out to eat. We got more than we paid for and they treated my mom like family

Very clean and well organized. We had lunch with a friend who lives there and food was very good. She loves the facility. Lots of activities for those who are interested. Like the fact that all three levels of care plus rehab are on premises.

I like it here

It has been an adjustment, however things are going well now. The other residents are friendly. The staff is great and the food is really good. The activities are good and we like that they have a pool. They offer physical therapy. The community is clean and I would recommend it.

Quite Good

I have been very pleased to live at Presbyterian Manor in Newton. The staff is very responsive to any issues with our home, or any concerns I may have. My wife and I live in a two bedroom home with a partial basement. The rates are reasonable, and the environment is pleasant. We feel at home here. We come and go as we please, and we can plug into activities, including meals, as we wish.

I toured both the assisted ...

I toured both the assisted living and the skilled nursing areas at this facility, and was very impressed. Everything is extremely clean and well-kept, and the staff seemed friendly and helpful. There seem to be quite a few private skilled nursing rooms, and in the assisted living area the bathrooms were huge- great for wheelchairs.

The staff was wonderful!

This is a skilled nursing, but also an assisted living facility, very expensive, but it was excellent. The staff was wonderful! They had dining facilities for family members to come and eat with their loved one. The surroundings of the facility were newer and nicer and better kept than others. The staff had been there as long as the facility, 12-15 years, so that spoke volumes as far as the loyalty of the staff, and for their ability to keep their staff happy.

My Tour Experience at Aberdeen Village

The tour of Aberdeen Village was nice. The rooms were much smaller than we wanted for our loved one. The cost was higher than another community in the area.

This is a nice place... we were on the waiting list for a while

This was a nice place, we toured here, and we were on the waiting list for a while. I felt like they were a good value, you get a little more for a little less, but the building and facility itself wasn't quite as nice. Mostly the waiting list persisted a little too long.
