Known for its wide-open landscape and distinctive red dirt, Oklahoma is an ideal retirement destination for seniors looking for a calming, relatively inexpensive lifestyle. The Sooner State’s two largest cities, Oklahoma City and Tulsa, grew during the oil booms of the early 1900s and today feature popular art museums, zoos, and botanical gardens. On Route 66, which crosses almost the entirety of the state from east to west, travelers can catch a glimpse of the Old West while stopping at old-fashioned restaurants and roadside attractions.
A Place for Mom’s Senior Living Advisors can provide you with a list of senior apartment communities in Oklahoma to help you find one that fits your needs and budget.

I love living in this atmosphere……like a hotel. Facility is behind a locked gate, which makes me feel secure and safe. Everyone is so friendly and there are many things to do here. I am finally at home!
The staff has been great. Wonderful people working there. They treat my mother very well and are always very polite to her and myself when I visit. The update of the facility's interior is very nice....
They were very friendly, knew who we were, made sure our questioned got answered. Administrative was sometimes slower than expected with answers, but we got them. I would recommend Heatheridge Assisted...

What we like the most about the community is that it was clean and did not have a smell. I would recommend Legend Assisted Living at Rivendell to other families based on the experience so far.
The staff was absolutely great. Best we experienced in being at 4 different assisted living spaces. Food was good enough. Hospice services were amazing.
People were nice and seemed to care about my dad. I can't speak to the quality of the food because I never ate it and my dad was refusing to like anything at the time. It did look really good sometimes...
