I was under the impression we would have an orientation when we moved in and we missed that. The staff communicates well and we are keeping up to date on what's going on and they are easily reached when we question. The activities are more diverse than other communities we looked at. I would recommend this community to others

If there are care services your loved one needs, they will cost extra then what they provide. This is a newer community, and the rooms are very good they would be a five out of five. The food they serve would also be a five out of five.

It was more care than what my mom needed. My mom is independent. She moved to a place with a more active population. She likes to walk and be outside. Everyone at Stuart Lodge was very out going and caring. The food is not that great. It was just not the right fit for her.

The Sheridan is a very pleasant and beautiful surrounding. The memory care rooms are very adequate and each has a private bathroom. We had a couple of "bumps" in getting settled and learning the system, but the staff have been very patient in working with us to find the best possible solution. Dealing with memory loss is a very difficult and confusing issue. They have been of great help in that area. Also, the medical team has been responsive and helpful in putting plans in place.

I really liked this community, it felt like I was in a hotel. [name removed] was very nice and did a great job. The only thing I didn't like was the location. It is a newer facility and not much green space around. Washer/dryer in residents apartment.

I have had a wonderful experience while family at Cranes View Lodge. My family member is in the Memory Care unit and that team goes above and beyond to make sure every resident is taken care of. My father passed away and I needed a place close to me for my mother. She has adjusted so well and is always happy and smiling when I go to visit. The management is exceptional and I can tell they truly care about my mother. I feel so blessed to have her there and would recommend Cranes View Lodge to anyone.

My Mother arrived about 10 days before Xmas after selling her home of 20 years. She was scheduled for a 30 day Respite visit but they offered a better deal to go ahead & sign on as a regular resident with her household stuff following her there in late Jan after I returned from my trip. Since many residents go w their families during the holidays, staff levels throughout the facility were lower than usual. There are less activities offered & there is a slimmer staff in the Dining Room as well. It took awhile to get them to hook-up her tv (which you are required to provide for yourself) & ensure it was working properly. That meant many quiet evenings when she was lonely & bored with nothing to do. They did introduce her to other new arrivals & she did make one good friend there. Overall, she thought the place was nice but felt she was not ready for God’s Waiting Room & ended up moving back in with me...

Toured [date removed]. Memory care vs Assisted living. 70% occupied, but sold out of 2 BR units. Originally built in2017. Nice community.

This was a very nice place, with a bit of a "lodge" feel, nice central room. Newer, nice location, friendly staff. Definitely worth a look. For some reason, my mother felt the "feel" of another place we had visited was more to her liking, but it was not anything more than maybe general style. We found it friendly and nice.

Nice community that is in its initial stages of operation. The one drawback is that there is no independent living, only assisted living.

Very Nice new community. Rooms are very nice, one bedroom is currently $4,750 with price incentives through March 31st. Occupancy is around 42 residents at this time so maybe 50% occupied. Food looked very good. Staff (PALs)were young, possible turnover concerns. They stated there staffing is paid higher than other facilities to address those issues. The customer service advocate could not discuss levels of care pricing (tier pricing) until the evaluation was completed and the Social Worker and Nurse Practioner would complete that pricing after they meet and discussed the level of care needed. Fair but I would have liked some idea for planning. I did ask to schedule and evaluation so we can get the proper pricing for this facility.

Very nice. New. Unwillingly to really budge with cost. Didn't feel like they were willing to accommodate in any way either.

I like how this place is newer, but it is not very filled up with other residents. It seems that it is very empty and it could use other people to make more of a variety. It can get fairly lonely at the capacity that it is in now. The positive side to this is that the staff has a better connection with its tenants. I like how the staff seems to be a little bit older compared to other places (30+) which, to me, they may have more experience. I was speaking to one of them and they were explaining to me how their mother is getting to that point where she needs help as well. They have staff members who can relate. When you're so young in other places, their care staff may not know how to deal with older people even though they might be trained. To me, the older they are the more experience they have being around a variety of people. Here they pay attention to the routine and get to know their patients.

My husband and I can stay together in the same apartment and receive assisted living and memory care for him. We have encountered a few bumps in the road but for the most part, they have all been resolved. We both like the staffing here, for the most part, they are kind and friendly. In fact, in wake of the storm, they are keeping us updated on their plan and they assure us they have emergency provisions in place already. The food is quite good. We were considering going somewhere else but we have decided to stay where we are.

The experience has been typical like any assisted living. Things could be better and they are doing the best they can. They have so many residents living there. Overall they community is good and I have no complaints.

We liked this community when we visited. The people we met were friendly. They seem to offer some nice amenities. This community was just a little to far away and a little more expensive than what we were looking for.

I have no complaints about the tour I had taken at this community for my loved one. I thought the staff did a great job presenting the facility and made sure to provided us with lots of great information on everything they had to offer. The bedrooms where spacious and I liked the lighting throughout the unit. It was just not the right budget for our family but I would recommend it to anyone.

Overall it is going well and we are happy with the way the community helps my dad. It has been a transition and I would recommend them to my family and friends.
