Amazing community with a great staff. They treat everyone that walks through the door as family. My mom is not ready yet but when she is, I already know where I’m placing, which is here!! I highly recommend it

When I visited The Arbors Westbury, I walked into a great homey feeling at this intimate community. The activities room had residents playing Balloon volleyball in their chairs with a big balloon and smiles were on their faces so that made me feel great. The dining room had a variety of food on the menu and all meals are served by a waitress/waiter. The community was recently renovated so everything was clean and fresh. It was updated with a farmhouse decor making a cozy feeling. This was the best community that I toured in my search for mom.

I came to tour and knew nothing about assisted living. it was not what I expected. I would move in. In my mind I thought that it would be dark and medical like. This community is bright and lively. Everyone answered my questions and really helped me with my decision. The Executive Director and sales team took time to explain the differences between the other communities and theirs.

Dad is happy to be around men in the community and not just woman. They have a lot of veterans and do a vet's chat. Dad is overall happy. The aid's take good care of him and I feel safe knowing he is being taken care of...

This building had so much gone on when I visited. The residents were going on a bus trip, there were people throughout the building. Other places I have visited did not have anyone around. The building felt very alive.

Love how active my mom is in this community. The staff is always encouraging her to join any activities they have going on. She loves the social hour they have and she loves bingo. Would recommended to those looking for a fun, caring, and clean community. They are also great with communication.

When you walk in you are greeted just like you are part of a family. The staff is friendly and helpful. Everyone makes your loved one feel like they are loved. The building looks beautiful and whoever picked out the decor did a great job.

The Arbors at Hauppauge was a 5 across the board .We will be using your services again in the near future. We were very pleased with everything. We would definitely recommend this community to other families.

My mom is currently a resident at The Arbors at Islandia West in the transitions community and the care and oversight is very good. It is a small unit, which is good for patients with dementia. They keep the residents all very engaged from the morning to the evening. I would recommend The Arbors at Islandia to other family members if they are considering Assisted Living with dementia care, but not as strict as a safe care unit. The residents have the autonomy to move about, but they are in a secured environment.

I would say I couldn't have picked a better place. I picked this place because my mother was very happy with the staff.

Overall, the care is much better at the Arbors. Her room is bigger, the people are friendlier, and they take care of all her needs promptly. She is much happier.

My mom is thriving and every time I visit her she's smiling. We picked this community because of the price and location.

I would give 5 for all of them - They have a very caring staff and the director of the safe care area is fantastic. Assisted living in general is very expensive. This facility is priced more reasonably and yet does not seem to skimp on care. We were looking for respite care for 2 weeks. They Arbors had a month minimum for their policy, but they were able to make an exception for us. I absolutely recommend The Arbors at Islandia - East and West to others looking for care for their loved ones.

My motherinlaw [name removed] was a resident here for about 4 years. They treated her wonderful. The place is beautiful. The care she received was great. They have enjoyable activities each day. And the residents look forward to them. The staff is very caring. Mom's medications were always on time. There are many sitting areas you can enjoy with your resident. The lobby is so nice and relaxing to sit with your loved one. I would and have recommended The Arbors very highly..? I thank them very much for making moms stay there so comfortable.

We toured The Arbors at Bohemia when searching for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. This facility was beautiful. The cleanliness and friendliness were great. However, they did not have a Memory Care Unit, which is something we were looking for as a future need for our loved one.

My loved one is currently a resident at The Arbors at Islandia and it's been great. This facility is a beautiful place with caring people dealing with all sorts of personalities. One big thing is that it's all inclusive and also has Memory Care. My loved one is showing signs of dementia. I will not have to move her to a new place when she worsens. She tells me all the time how nice and clean the place is. She is a very picky eater, but is now eating 3 meals a day. This is coming from a woman that doesn't want to be there, but wants to go back to her house.

I would have to rate the Arbors a five on all of these, except for quality of care. I would give it a four only because they've had a change of personnel, and perhaps they need some time to catch up or train the new folks to their ways. I visit just about every day so I observe a lot and I am very happy with The Arbors all in all. The pay one price is a big plus other places would charge for any extra service. They provided such as medication. At the Arbors that services included. The activities and the vendors that they have come in for entertainment is amazing as well. I recommend them to all my friends who have parents that are getting up there in age my mom happens to be in the memory care unit, but there are other units for people that need assistance and can't live alone.

Me and my husband was here for a 30day trial and ended up loving the place. I love my room it’s so spacious. I love the residents. I’m happy being here. I am now a permanent resident and I couldn’t be more happy.

My dad and I were impressed with the Arbors as soon as we came in the door for the first time. He’s now living there and tells me often and nice it is to see the owner, [name removed]. I strongly recommend this place!

My mother had a brief stay at The Arbors at Bohemia and everything at this facility was great. It was a great experience for her here at this facility. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.
