Staff is excellent. Care is excellent. Most residents were happily engaged was my observation. Mom prefers her space and that was respected too. I fielded calls from other businesses. I looked for one thing: the best without looking at the bottom line. That said.....Harth and Home competitors allow Harth and Home to be top dog they simply are not competing for the highest end residents. The reputation of Harth and Home is sterling and deserved.

They have activities often. Staff is kind, patient, and helpful. My mother goes to the activities and participates. Rooms are small but nothing more is really needed. The whole facility is wide open and also safe from residents being able to walk away. I hadn't seen much interaction between my mother and staff. My only disappointment is that they don't accept Medicaid. We will need to find a new place because of that. I can't think of any reason not to give full credit. My mother still doesn't like being there because she has Alzheimer's and nothing is ever familiar nor does she remember anything. Every person she meets is like meeting that person for the first time even though they eat lunch and dinner together daily

The Director, was very kind and sensitive to the needs of my brother who we were trying to find a suitable assisted living care. The tour was very well planned and we were very pleased with the place. The only reason we went elsewhere was because I am his sole remaining sibling and I live in Florida. My brother does not want to leave the area so moving to Florida was not an option. This facility was very nice but didn't have availability for approximately 30 days. We ended up going to another very nice facility that had immediate availability. He is in this other facility now and seems happy. I do want to thank her at Hearth and Home as she was prepared to help any way she could. Also, Thank you to the Team at Home for Mom. I highly recommend using there assistance.

Beautiful, clean, well-kept. Residents seemed healthy and happy. Nice staff available to meet residents needs.

All of the nursing aids were very helpful even the housekeeping lady she would ask if I needed water ice always asked if I needed help or something and Maria the manager she is wonderful. If you had any questions or needed anything or questions from the doctor [name removed] would always take care of things for me she was awesome. I also could text her at night call her she would always answer.

What I liked most - the people. What could be better- upgrade TV. They have great daily activities. I would recommend to others.

Definitely would recommend to others. Staff is terrific, even when they're short-staffed, they treat the residents with care, respect & consideration. They have bent over backwards to provide foods mom will eat. If she won't eat what they're having that day (they'll try first), then they go to the kitchen & see what they can come up with that she will eat. They're almost always pleasant & cheerful to us & the residents. They have a "feeding dining room" for those that have to be fed, and there's almost always 2 staff members in there feeding people. They keep mom in the activity room most of the day, even tho she doesn't participate. But she's out of her room & around other residents & staff, instead of being left in her room by herself all day. When the weather is nice they take her out on the porch (which she does enjoy) so she can feel the breeze & hear the birds. She rarely responds, but that doesn't stop them from talking to her.

Was a beautiful place! Clean and rooms are nice My husband is moving there and looking forward to it. Lots of activities and great meals!

This facility is newly remodeled and beautiful. All staff I saw interacted with residents, myself and each other. The menus are varied and looked appetizing. [Name Removed] gave my tour and with formerly being with the nursing staff She has great insight into the needs of residents. The facilities State surveys have been perfect or almost perfect for 5 years. Thanks for a great tour.

Love to use this facility, but private pay and no wavier for Medicaid after 2 years is a no go for us. Nice place, just not for us.

The staff and administrators are so attentive to the needs of the residents and their families. I would absolutely recommend to others.

They were very accommodating of my extended family who live out of town. The transition to hospice went very smoothly. And the staff even came to the viewing. Granny was part of their family too.

5 on all categories. I experienced good communication, [name removed] care was great, wonderful homey atmosphere, appropriate activities for the residents. The place is pricey, however I did learn the price was in line with most facilities in our area. I would absolutely recommend this community to other families!

Very happy with Hearth and Home! Very bright and cheerful atmosphere and the staff are friendly, attentive, and caring. The meals are nutritious and appealing. We are so pleased with Hearth and Home for our mother.
