I love this place!!!.. This is the second time my mom has been here and the staff is sooo accommodating and they make the process so non stressful.. the rooms are so nice!!... the food is great!!..From the office staff, front desk , CNAs there all there to meet any needs your loved one has. It’s a boutique assisted living place , not to big so your not just a number, but they get to know your loved ones name and just personable !!... very clean.. and they have wonderful outings, and activities for everyone!!!...I’d move in;))...

I love the Heritage Woods of Plainfield facility for my mom. The facility is very clean and kept up, and it is a nice, newer building. I know I do not have to worry, as she loves living there, and is very well taken care of by the attentive, caring staff. She has her own 1-bedroom apartment overlooking the garden, which she so enjoys. She has made many, many friends and is always busy. She receives 3 wonderful meals that my mom always raves about and snacks whenever they want. They have movie nights, bingo, and other activities and they take the residents to go out shopping weekly. The nursing staff makes certain that all the medications are always correct and distributed as prescribed as well as taking their vitals. They also have physical and occupational therapy on site as well as Doctors that come right to the facility. My mom loves some of the staff there, particularly nurse [name removed] who is so very helpful, sweet and caring, Administrator [name removed], who has taken over the facility and done such a fabulous job of making such wonderful changes to the facility. He is always asking if anything is wrong or needs changing to make certain the residents needs are taken care of and that they are comfortable. [Names removed] are so helpful, and [name removed] her housekeeper who she loves and who always goes the extra mile to help my mom, and [name removed], who helps her stay active with lots of crafts. I would, and have, recommended this facility to everyone! ***** 5 Stars

A good place to live. I came from living independently to here so there are a lot of changes and compromises for me, but so far I love it here. For my needs this place works great for me. It's not perfect but it's damn close IMO!

From the very first impression on my tour of Heritage Woods, to the move in date for our Mom, Heritage Woods is nothing short of beautiful inside and out including the staff that serves our loved one. My mother lived at heritage Woods for over 10 years in a nice one bedroom apartment. She is Now 102 years old and has moved to a more long term care facility. However, she appreciated the excellent care and friends she made with staff other residents. I strongly recommend Heritage Woods and our family is most appreciative.

I would highly recommend Prairie Winds to anyone looking for an assisted living community. The staff is friendly, helpful and supportive. The facility is clean and well maintained. And the added benefit is that they will accept Medicaid once you are no longer able to private pay for the services.

We were thoroughly impressed with Heritage Woods; the facility is pristine, there is ample parking, and it is easy to get to. [name removed] was extremely courteous and all of the staff greet us as if we had been frequent visitors. Even the residents welcomed us told us jokes; you instantly feel welcome and at ease. [name removed] took the time to explain everything in great detail complete with a welcome packet. (Something that the other two locations did not offer) Everything was clean and well maintained; in addition to the basics, they had a fitness center, library computer area, multiple common areas, and even had a small on-site store as well as a salon. There is even a Dairy Queen on the opposite end of the parking lot for those hot summer days... Heritage Woods is by far the best location we've visited and should be at the top of your search list if you are looking in this area.

The director of marketing and move in Coordinator have been exceptional to work with. Both have provided excellent communication, making the transition of appropriate residents from Aperion Care Peoria Heights to Gateway at River City a very smoothly and without concern from this facility.

Oasis at 30th...is a awesome place to have your loved ones especially if you want them to have quality care, if they need help with activities og daily living. I attended an event here last year and it was phenominal everything was in order the residents enjoyed themselves and the food was ever so delicious..i highly recomnend this place.

My Mom is a happy resident of Heritage and I had to take a moment to express my admiration and gratefulness to what has become the blossoming of her old self again. As an only son, me and my wife always tried to find interesting things to do together, but when she now looks forward to singers, dancers, children's choirs, knitting classes, and tonight's 5:00 hula dancers, I can't express the peace and joy her new life there offers her. The management and staff are fantastic and they treat us like family when we have any issues and are extremely concerned and helpful in every area where we have had issues, be it health, financial or otherwise. I feel it is important to realize Heritage is not a nursing home and there is certain criteria required to live there. This was explained from our first meeting and reiterated throughout the process, but while she is in good health, we hope and pray that continues so that she can continue looking forward to the great food, fun and feelings they offer her. I just needed to give credit where it is due, so thanks for giving us the opportunity.

The lady we met was very knowledgeable and kind. She knew every resident by name which made our visit more inviting. She surely is an asset to Heritage Woods. The facility was clean along with the apartment we looked at and the common areas. The only downside was that the studio seemed a little small.

Since the first day I arrived everyone has been kind to me. The residents, the employees – EVERY ONE and I am so grateful.

This place is well kept and maintained, it’s clean, and the staff really seems to care about the people living there. They’re good about being available to help when you need it. The food appears to be decent and they have a few activities available that everyone can participate in if they want to. The other residents there seem to be really nice as well. I would absolutely recommend this place.

I absolutely love it here at Gateway. There are lots of activities, food is good, most residents are real nice and easy to get along with. The staff is wonderful. I’m friends with many residents who are awesome. Definitely worth living here.

Heritage Woods of Dwight is such a beautiful place. The rooms are large. It is kept so nice. I have been to several of their events. I am always impressed by how hard the staff works to get the community involved with Heritage Woods. There is always something going on out there.

The staff and community were amazing. You could really feel the love. The residents looked happy and it was vibrant. Super helpful in trying to work out my needs. The actual place was a bit dated and worn, nothing fancy. Not everyone wants fancy though. The feel was great.

This facility has a very long waiting list and it took my brother 8 months to get in. I like that this place is close to me and that it is state run. I will be able to keep him here when his money runs out and they use your social security checks as payments. The facility is very well kept and the people who run it are good. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the nurses are nice. I do, however, occasionally run into one or two employees that aren't accustomed to working with older people. The food seems fine and they have a lot of activities to participate in. I would recommend this community to other families.

I am very happy and pleased with this facility so far. All of the staff members have been so helpful and very accommodating. I really like the director and she was amazing in getting my cousin set up and finalizing the paperwork. When I went to go move my cousin in, the facility didn’t have a one bedroom apartment that was unfurnished. Instead of having us look for a new place or downgrading to a studio, they offered us a one bedroom furnished apartment for no extra charge! From what my cousin has told me, the food is good and the staff is actually able to keep up with her when she goes on her walks. They do offer activities like field trips, an in-house beauty salon, and speech/physical therapy. I would recommend this facility to other families.
