The nurses are well educated in their craft. Delighted by their interpersonal skills. I have no hesitation of giving a 5-star rating to the group as a whole. High quality of care. Thankful for all services. River cafe is awesome ! Best BLT’s !

We've had a very good experience with Juniper Villege. The staff, nurses and office workers are all very nice and helpful. [name removed] is really happy there. She has great care and has made some nice friends. She enjoys having the kitchenette in her room and also the meals from the facility. She also likes having the option of being able to eat in either of the two dining rooms. It has a great experience from the start.

Our neighbors were showing signs of medical and memory issues and in need of an assisted living facility. The social worker at the rehab facility recommended Juniper Village. They had an opening and could accomdate the couple. We were plesently surprised by the continued kindness, cleanliness and overall welcoming environment in the community. Our neighbors are still in the mental process of transitioning to this new environment but they appreciate how kind and caring the staff has been. They are now in a safe environment where their daily needs are being met.

From the first day here, the staff have always been very caring. They have always matched or exceeded expectation in our concerns. Although mom passed earlier this year, dad has been well taken care of. They encourage everyone for group participations and Mass ( you are gonna love the darling chapel)

Excellent service, lovely facility, friendly helpful staff. Supremely clean. Building is a traditional mainline beauty. Family and home-y feel. Excellent value, too. Many on-site services, including salon, therapies, podiatry, eye and hearing exams. Van transportation available. Well organized. Beautiful grounds and walking trail.

Devon Senior Living Health Care has been nothing but helpful, accommodating and resourceful with my mother’s transition from home to Devon. The staff is lovely and responsive. I am one of 8 siblings and we have many questions, wants and needs and the health care has been awesome!

This is one of the most amazing places around! The love, care and respect for residents, visitors and each other is second to none! I am a Hospice Chaplain and enjoy visiting this facility where many of my patients reside. If you are looking for a loving place for your loved ones you should bring them here!

i think it’s a friendly, warm and comfortable environment. i have been here for almost 2 years. people are encouraging and helpful and the staff is supportive. My mother in law lived here years ago and loved it to!

The Devon is a great place to meet warm friendly people from the staff to the residents. I attended an Open House and was quite surprised. I pass here all the time and admired the building, but it is what you feel inside that adds to it's charm. Live entertainment and delicious dessert!

5 for all. There has been some turnover of the front desk staff which has been disappointing for my Mom because she really likes them. The property is a nice setting, off the main road and lots of trees. Many activities to stay engaged. Apartments are spacious and many have their own balconies.

My Mom has been in Juniper for about 3 months now and is having a wonderful experience. She is absolutely thriving. The director [name removed] is so wonderful to work with. And I can't forget to mention how wonderful [name removed] is. The entire staff is so good to my Mom. This was the best decision we could have made.

The Devon has been a real home for my mother for the past 14 months and I couldn't ask for a better staff. From the moment you walk into the facility, to the time you leave, you are graced with smiles and kind words. My mother was nervous first moving in as anyone would be but the staff encouraged her to involve herself in activities and it wasn't long before she made new friends and had an extended family in the residents and staff members. I love visiting her because I know when I leave, I leave her in trusting hands. I'm so thankful I made the choice in placing my mom there. My only issue is dining. They were put with two other couples. One guy died and my wife is a mess. Other couple has health issues and don't show up. My mom needs socialization. They need some other people.

Juniper Village of Forest Hills has proved to be the correct place for my brother to reside at this time. My family and I have had nothing but positive experiences. My brother enjoys his accommodations, food service, daily group activities and the care he has been provided. Every day the entire staff shows friendliness, kindness, and compassion when caring for my brother and the other residents. Overall it has been a positive experience.

I needed a place for respite care when I was going out of town and that is a place that our hospice company found that had a empty bed .

It is a convenient beautiful campus and it felt more like someone's home and not like a facility. Staff is very friendly and many of the staff we still see there even after a year, so minimal turnover with key employees.

Only challenge has been the water pressure is weak. They have been working on it and it has improved. Initially it was bad. Could barely take a shower or get the shampoo rinsed out of her hair.

My Mother passed away about 3-4 weeks after entering Juniper Village. Our experience with them was good and especially with Hospice when they were called in after it was apparent mother wouldn't recover.

Not enough medical care when needed from the doctor that covers the residents as their primary doctor. He has too many patients with too many needs and made my mom wait all day to be seen and then she was never seen at all. We had to pick her up and take her to ER. She was also ignored when she told the staff repeatedly that she did not feel well. She was going into CHF and also had Atrial fibrillation and ultimately required a pacemaker that week. We ended up removing her from Vero so that her medical care could be supervised better. Very expensive but compared to home care costs, the value is reasonable. Only the wealthy or people with a long term care policy could ever afford it though. The other thing I forgot to mention that was concerning is that they do not have a cost cap. So their contract says they can raise the rent at anytime at their discretion and for a person with a fixed income, this could mean they might not be able to afford living there at some point and then they are stuck with no place to go because now they have sold their home and don't have a safety net anymore. A promise to always stay within her long term care budget would have made us feel a lot safer or at-least a cap of some kind.
