Legacy Retirement Communities

My sisters, brother in law, and I are comfortable and trust our Mother is safe. If families can afford it which is probably the biggest concern for most people. There isn't a whole lot that can be done about that. I do really also appreciate "A Place for Mom" for all the information and resources provided. We had no idea where to start at the beginning. You saved us quite a bit of time during our search. We were quickly able to narrow our choice and get my Mom to see Legacy House.

I give all 8 categories a 5. We have been very pleased with everything & everyone at Legacy House. We haven't been displeased with anything. The thing that has impressed us the most is the staff. Without exception, from the front desk to the caregivers, they are friendly & caring. They take excellent care of Mom. The facility is always kept clean & the food is always good.

Overall, Legacy House delivers on all the key aspects. The activities programming has been a major aspect for my mother-in-law adjusting and now thriving. There have been bumps and challenges, but when brought to LH staff attention, they were receptive and took appropriate action. The contracted physical therapist in the last 6 months has been outstanding. The food has been the only enduring complaint. LH has struggled to meet a vegetarian diet, but my M-I-L does not communicate well and makes few suggestions and has also has small appetite so it's not all on them. I am hearing fewer complaints. The staff is warm, friendly, and there appears to be a strong team with lotsa smiles and comaraderie. Residents are out in the common areas and interacting with each other and the staff. We are definitely pleased with LH.

Since I live in a different state than my mom I thought it would be difficult to find a place like Legacy. A place that both she felt comfortable in and that I felt comfortable leaving her in. From the initial contact with the then director and assistant director I felt at ease. They were able to give me a virtual tour of the facilities via FaceTime (other options are available). They were able to answer every question I had, either during the tour or after via email, text or phone call. The paperwork was all ready to be signed when I made the trip back to help mom get set up. She has been at Legacy a little more than a year now and still enjoys her time there and has made new friends

We needed to find a memory care facility for my father-in-law, [name removed]. We are so happy to have found Legacy. The facility is really nice and the people are absolutely amazing! Everyone from the director of nursing to maintenance have been kind, sweet, friendly, knowledgeable and outstanding! I watch how they interact with not just [name removed] but the other patients and they just love them! They hug them and treat them like family! It's really awesome to watch! In addition, all the other memory care facilities we went to charge two different monthly fees, one for rent, and the other for "level of care" (meaning the more care they need, the more they are going to charge us). the difference between each level was something like $[removed]! So the more care they need, the more they charge! We were so impressed to find that Legacy doesn't do this! They charge 1 monthly fee regardless of the level of care! To us that means they care no matter what! ...and most importantly, [name removed] loves it there too!

The common areas are clean but assigned room had permanent carpet stains. The event's staff is amazing. They are friendly, know the residents' names and plan a variety of activities. The cleaning of the resident rooms between residents could and should be way better.

The staff was friendly, helpful and caring. I highly recommend Legacy House of Avondale.

My parents have lived at Legacy House Assisted Living In Spanish Fork Utah for the past 5 years. They easily made friends and have enjoyed the activities that are offered. The staff are amazing! I truly feel like they love my parents like their own family. My mother has enjoyed the shopping trips, lunch bunch, bingo and craft activities that are all offered throughout the week. My father describes living at Legacy House as being on a vacation. My parents have been able to maintain their independence but also have help quickly when needed. I have found the CNA's are very quick to respond. I have so much peace of mind knowing that my parents are being taken care of and they are in a safe and loving environment. Legacy House of Spanish Fork allows me to be a daughter instead of a caregiver.

My parents have lived at Legacy house for over four years. In past visits I had small interactions with the staff and management. Everyone was friendly, knew who my parents were and the residents were happy. I just returned from an extended visit and am amazed at the care and LOVE the staff exhibited daily. From the dining room crew to reception to med techs to housekeeping, maintenance, activities and on up to leadership, ALL the staff was engaged and happy to be there. We felt Legacy was a safe comfortable place for my parents back then and still know this to be true today. I highly recommend Legacy of Spanish Fork with confidence.

Visiting this community was such a special experience. I loved that it’s nestled in a quaint, charming neighborhood—it felt peaceful and inviting from the moment I arrived. The building is beautifully maintained, everything was so clean, and there’s a warmth about the place that makes it truly stand out. You can tell a lot of heart goes into making this community feel like home.

We visited a dozen facilities from the Provo to North Salt Lake City. All with a range of care from independent living to significant physical or mental care programs... while there were similar facilities and programs elsewhere, Legacy Sugarhouse has shown more professional staff and activities. One thing has shown quite different from any of the facilities - the "neighborhood". Surrounding Legacy is a vibrant array of stores, restaurants (if you are looking for a change) medical faculties and lots of parking for staff and visitors. We are a city within a city, Among the staff, everyone knows all the people living here. We are here to stay.

I've been coming to this facility for years and the best things I ican say is that she employees care about their residents and they love their job enough to stat at Legacy for years. This is a rarity in this industry. Great relationship.

This is such a wonderful facility, clean, beautiful and the staff are top notch. Staff members truly care about the residents and treat them like family. I would recommend this place to anyone. Truly the best in the valley.

Looking for a community for a family member is truly a hard road.. I visited a crazy amount in and around the Phoenix area for a place my sister would thrive in on her Ahlzheimer’s journey. I returned 3x times to Legacy before making the decision to bring my sister for a tour. Each time I came I saw happy residents who were engaged with other residents. I saw that they were cared for, were pleasant and willing to talk about their life at Legacy. The entire staff paused during their work to greet me, talk with my sister and shared their experience working at Legacy. Many had been working here for quite a while. Even new staff were happy working here and felt it was more than just a job, You have to look past beautiful surroundings to have the heart of a community and this place is full of heart, family and love. Most importantly I trust them in their care of my sister everyday. They are inclusive, believe in communication with residents and family and want the best they can give.

An amazing facility that makes your loved one feel like they are home and part of their family. Caring faculty and management that genuinely care about the residents. A great place for your loved one to stay!

Legacy house of Spanish fork is a beautiful facility. The staff are kind and welcoming and it’s just a safe space! I love the different food options they have. And the fun different activities they plan!

Legacy has been great to work with, we enrolled my mother into their program she loves it new friends a lot of activities. The staff has been great to work with and very helpful, I would highly recommend this facility. I am very comfortable having my mom in Legacy.

I love it here!!! I didn't know what to expect when I moved here. I found kind, caring workers and the other residents are treated the same so everybody seems to have a happy attitude. It is a great place to live.

Every one here is very friendly and willing, anxious to help. The facilities are adequate and kept clean. We are checked on regularly and asked is there is something they can do for us. Everyone is attentive to our needs and inadequacies. The food is great & served promptly and with politeness.

I have found this to be an outstanding, friendly, loving, caring place. The residents seem to love each other and the staff is magnificent. I am so happy to be living here at Legacy House of Spanish Fork.
