Legacy Retirement Communities

We picked this community because of the location. It is a fantastic place. My mother is in memory care. The caregivers don't run when you walk in. They are engaging and full of information about your loved one. They are the heart and soul!!

My family found this community for me and I was nervous making the move here. Now that I am here I have no regrets. All the employees are so nice and have really made me feel at home. The maintenance man [name removed] had been so helpful helping me right away when i have any problems with my cable in my apartment. The food is good, I have nothing to complain about the servers are always nice and give great service. I am still trying to get into the activities here but I love the fitness classes in the morning. I’ve made friends and they always encourage me to go to activities with them. I love it here and its really the perfect community.

I am a new resident and have lived at Legacy House for roughly a week and I love it here! The Dining room is so clean and comfortable. Food is really good, the first meal i had here was the BLT snd they did the works for me and added extra bacon! Everyone one is so nice and pleasant to talk to (other residents anf staff). Jack (my dog) and I adore my apartment its so comfortable and peaceful. I receive weekly houskeeping to help keep it extra clean. Jack loves our patio and I like to go out there and enjoy the weather with him. I can’t t forget the courtyard here; it id do relaxing and serene. Jack love its, they have pet areas out there for all the dogs here. Landscaping is super well kept and i love how the flowers are still blossoming. Its such a beautiful courtyard. Overall, Legscy House is such a nice place to live!

Very good experience with the Legacy Village of Salt River community. My parents love the staff and other residents . The activities have been great They are busy and happy there. The food is good.

The staff at Legacy House of Taylorsville is amazing and is the main reason that we choose this facility. The facility is very inviting and friendly. My mother is already very fond of several of the staff. They are always attentive and helpful. [Name removed] was great getting us all set up with all the information that we needed. My mother loves the housekeeping! The gentleman that does her floor goes above and beyond! The food has been wonderful as well. I would recommend Legacy House of Taylorsville to family and friends.

For the past week, my family has been moving my father into this facility. In Washington State, I have worked with 2 different assisted living facilities and 1 nursing home as my parents aged. I found the move in process very smooth and staff very friendly and helpful. My father reports he has enjoyed all his meals so far and is much happier being with others his own age and shared life experiences

My 99 year old mother has been at Legacy House for about 2 months now. I felt extremely guilt about moving my mother from our house to a care facility. I was completely surprised at home well she has adjusted and how happy she seems to be there. The staff is excellent. The CNA's in memory care seem to have great relationship's with the residents. I think that it takes a very special type of people to care for the elderly. I have nothing but appreciate for the care provided for my mother

Legacy House is amazing!! It is the greatest place to be. The first time my grandchildren came they said "grandma, you live in a big hotel!" It is so nice. The staff are friendly and helpful and the residents are awesome. We have such a sense of community. Everyone is so friendly and we have a good time together. the activities are fun and we have our own Branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It helps bring us together. I would recommend this assisted living. I love being here!!

The love of my life reached a point where I could no longer care for her at home. In November of 2021 we moved her to The Legacy House. She was able to stay until October 2022 when she required special geriatric psychiatric care and medication management. During the 11 1/2 months she was at the Legacy House the staff went above and beyond the capacity of the facility to meet her special needs. I am forever grateful for our time together with our Legacy House family. As I drive by to an from work I have fond memories of what I consider sacred ground.

Legacy House was extremely accommodating with our situation. The staff was very kind, understanding and helpful. The facility was nice and clean. I would definitely recommend this place.

I am very happy with the food. I am so pleased that the chef will accommodate by putting items on the menu if I or other residents make suggestions. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is like family getting together.

Love the people that work in the dining room they are hard workers and very friendly and accommodating. I have special diet needs and although Legacy does not cater to specific diets the Chef always has food available that I can eat.

For the most part, the service is good the food is very good with a great selection--daily specials and a vast selection on the everyday menu. The servers are friendly and genuine. Some offer suggestions as to their favorites if I am indecisive. The Chef occasionally comes to the tables to visit and see how the residents are enjoying their meals.

I recently moved to Legacy with my wife. We love the food here and the variety offered. Would like grits and biscuits and gravy a little more often for breakfast, but other than that the selection is very good--always something to choose from that me and the wife can enjoy.

In the time I have been here, all has gone well. Any concern I have had has been addressed immediately and when I needed extra help, it has been extended immediately!

Legacy is a beautiful place to be, not only is their staff on top of it, but this facility feels like home. This place will put a smile on your face.

My mom has been in memory care for almost 2 months now, I am greatly satisfied with the care and the services that have been provided for her. [name removed] has exceeded my expectations. When trying to place my mom into Legacy memory care, [name removed] came to my mom's home for her assessment as it would be easier for my mom. She took numerous phone calls from me in which I voiced conerns and questions. She answered the questions as best she could and if the question was something she was unsure about she would get me a answer in a timely manner. She always made sure to greet me with a smile, going through this experience with [name removed], I feel I have gained a friend. [name removed] and the CNAs have treated my mom as if she were their own. They are constantly updating me which has made the difficult decision easier, I highly recommend Legacy South Jordan Memory Care!
