Very impressive. Greeted with a warm welcome and has all the bells and whistles for Mom. Tons of activities, outings and loved the fact they get the Andover High School to get involved by volunteering their time for some of their events. Good security and daily attendance checks to keep Mom safe!

We were there less than a month, so it was a short stay. While they were they liked it. Everything was wonderful. It was clean. The food was wonderful, and the people were great. It seemed like a vibrant place, even only at fifty percent full. It's one of the reasons we chose it.

Place was beautiful. Really liked it.

We realized that my parents needed to move from their home into a facility. We knew absolutely nothing about where to go nor how to get there. We learned that an organization existed, A Place for Mom. We called and requested an education and how to go about that.<br />There are a fantastic organization, our family can not say enough about their ability and willingness to provide assistance.<br />Our family, my two brothers and our wives visited different facilities. We visited different facilities because rating by others does nothing, it is just an opinion and you have no idea what it is based upon.<br />We visited, listened and observed what was taking place. We were interested in the facility itself of course, but more important were the people at the facility, those who worked and those who lived there. The interaction between them and the relationship that existed. <br />Your facility we were very impressed with, not because it was new but because of the people who worked there, their interaction between themselves as well as their relationship to those who lived there.<br />The people who work there at Arbor Oaks, are a fabulous and caring people. It tells us that those who manage the facility are doing their job when they surround themselves with quality people.<br />Keep up the good work, remain focused, caring and seeking ways to improve.

Lovely facility. Helpful, pleasant staff. Impressive list of on-site services available, from beauty shop to podiatrist. Multiple levels of care, from wellness (fairly independent) to memory care. Great programs and activities offered. Comfortable/roomy apartments. Still has that new smell.

They are great!! We are really happy with them. The only drawback we are seeing right now is that they are new, so they aren't completely full. They aren't quite fully staffed yet either. They are doing well with food service and offering stimulating activities. The big thing for me was that they are able to accept the elderly wavier, and if the elderly wavier apartments are full they will get to stay in the same one they are in now. On the third floor they have a beautiful chapel, and a beautiful bar, my dad was able to go have a couple of beers with his friends, he seems to really be having a good time. They also have a dog, and they were able to accept pets which was a big thing for us. The apartments are beautiful and have big front loading washing machines. I have never seen the type of facilities they have here. Gigantic showers, with heated floors, and benches. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Loved pretty much everything about it. Clean, new and bright. Very nice common areas. Seemed to have ample staffing and friendly. Can have a pet if wanted, but a $500 one time fee for that. Need to find out pricing for the assistance packages. She said there was pricing in packet, but couldn't find any.

I would highly recommend Arbor Oaks to anyone who needs to find a terrific home for their family. The facility is new and the atmosphere is lovely, welcoming and has a comfortable feel. It is small enough not to overwhelm, yet large enough to provide all services needed. All 3 meals included and the chef does a wonderful job. The entire staff helped my mom feel at home and she's thriving in her new home.

Like many of you searching for a good community to take loving care of your loved ones, we toured many facilities. We liked many of them, but this one stood out. The staff was caring, friendly, interested in him as a person, and what his needs would be. The nurse came out to evaluate him in his home to get a clearer picture of what he was really like including the fact that he loved chocolate. One of the staff stated that she saw the apartment as his bedroom and the rest of the facility as his home. The residents have been equally welcoming, encouraging his participation in activities and his conversation at meals, two of which I have eaten with him. The transition was very difficult as it had to be done without any forewarning, but the community at Arbor Oaks, staff and residents, have made it so much easier. He has gone from demanding to be taken home to admitting that he kind of likes it there--all in the space of three difficult days. I would recommend that you at least put this facility on your list to see.

we chose trails because of the smaller feel. my mom was more comfortable in a smaller facility.

The view from my aunts room is terrific, she has a view of the river. The staff are very responsive to family, the more involved you are the more involved they are. They have had difficulty with staffing like everyone else, but it is coming around. They just hired a new activities director so we are just starting to see a new ramp up of activities provided. She is really good at providing activities based on level of care. My aunt absolutely loves the food. We looked at 3 different places and we are very happy that we chose Eagle Court. I would recommend them as long as you are able to afford it.

Kettle Park felt like a family operation. It was one story and had a homey feel to it. I liked it a lot and would have been happy to have Mom go there. I left the decision up to my sister, and she chose a place that was closer to her.

We toured this community it was nice and clean. They were wonderful here.The rooms were spacious. My sister just didn't feel comfortable here. I would recommend families tour many places before making a choice. Also to read what you are signing.

This facility is very spacious and beautiful. It is a bit pricey, but so are a lot of retirement communities in the area. The staff is wonderful and they treat the residents well. The other residents here are friendly too.

They are doing a great job. The individualized attention, is one of the things they do best. We are very happy with them. I would give them a four and a half to a five.

We had a relative here, and we were overall satisfied.

My Dad loves the food and the amount of independence he's given. All the staff are friendly and receptive to questions and requests

They do a good job. They are very clean and the staff is friendly. The only thing on the activities side, is that it seems like there is a lot of the same stuff going on. The food is excellent. They seemed to me like they were willing to accommodate whatever needed to happen to make whatever needed to happen for our loved one. They gave me the impression that they were the most capable for our situation.

Landmark is a beautiful facility - the rooms are spacious and the meals are delicious. We found that while they are very friendly and accommodating when you move in, they are very strong with their schedules and come on very strong. I think if they had backed off a little the first few days and let new move ins get adjusted to everything we may have had a better experience. Because they are quite new I think they are trying to stick to the rules in a strong way and scare the elderly by coming on strong and making the residents feel overwhelmed. Because they are not a nursing home facility made it impossible for our friends to stay there as one of them needed the nursing help.

I would recommend you read the fine print and request information in writing. Based on the experience, I would recommend Highland Senior Living to other families based on the experience so far.
