Maplewood Senior Living

He loves the therapies and exercise classes, especially for Parkinson's. Also, he says the food is great. He feels very well taken care of. The only thing I'd add is that the manager is not very responsive when there's a problem. We had a weird thing happen recently where my friend's toilet safety frame was stolen. That was icky in itself, but I was more frustrated by the lack of response to the incident. Other than that, all good!

A staff that appears to truly care and engage the residents. Nice size bedrooms, clean and feels very much like home. The outside areas are beautiful and I know my father will enjoy himself outside next summer.

All the staff there were wonderful. From the top to the bottom. They were as concerned about my brother's care as I was. They were on top of his needs and how to handle them. Everyone went out of their way to make my family feel informed. I was so impressed with the level of care he received. I felt I'd picked the ideal place for him.

[name removed] room is large but cozy, the staff is friendly and always helpful, activities are offered all day 7 days a week, even church services Sun AM, the food is great, they serve snacks around 2 and [name removed] has assimilated beautifully. I highly recommend Mill Hill.

Very clean and a beautiful updated facility. All of the staff are wonderful. Meals are good. And communication to the families is great.

Staff has been supportive and very responsive. The building is beautiful, not depressing, a place I don't mind taking my grandchildren. There are a lot of activities. My sister is in the book club, goes to lectures, movies, and shopping with the van. There are music recitals daily and movies every night. The gardens are gorgeous, inviting and comfortable places to sit alone or with friends. So it has been great but the apartments are a little small.

They were extremely quick with the communication ( also thanks to [name removed] from A Place called Mom ) And now 6 weeks later, are still very good about letting me know what is going on with mom. I visit often and it is good to see that the staff knows who my mom is .. and what she needs .. I feel they take very good care of her and I am so thankful.

Maplewood is a beautiful place. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. I would recommend Maplewood to others. . It was comparably priced to other long term care facilities we looked at, but it was much nicer and newer.

I am highly satisfied your guidance in making such a difficult decision was a godsend. Maplewood at Orange has continued to show professional and compassionate care for my husband. Clear and timely communication concerning current health service plan or special events coming up. they are especially accommodating if you want a private space for a family gathering the grounds are impeccably well taken care of activities and opportunities provided for residence are relevant and interesting. I have peace of mind that my husband is receiving the best medical care and is in a safe environment.

All 5s except activities maybe a 4: more variety would be good or more field trips. What we like the most about Maplewood is the caring welcoming people (both staff and residents). Yes, we would recommend this community to other families!

What we like the most about Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls is the food. The food was excellent, and the staff were great. The accommodations were comfortable. I would certainly recommend that it be carefully considered

Overall, our experience at Maplewood at Stony Hill has been good. I feel like they generally care about the people staying there. The place looks good and is well cared for and they do a nice job keeping their room clean and the linens clean which is a big deal with my mom and her incontinence. Also, my mom has expressed she is bored and they’ve been making an effort to encourage her to be a part of the activities that they offer there.

Facility- Very clean and up to date. Room my dad is in works well for him. Meals- he is very happy with the food and enjoys the routine of the meal schedule. He is kept busy with activities. Staff- staff have been good with my dad. He seems to like everyone there. We have found them to be friendly and aware of what my dad has been doing on a daily basis. When we email or text it sometimes takes a little longer than we'd want for a response but if we needed someone quickly it's easy to get someone by phone. I should mention we were under extreme pressure/time sensitive to get my dad to a facility (coming from inpatient hospital stay) and the center did a GREAT job expediting the process and in touch with hospital directly. In addition- drop off was hard for us and they did do a great job with that process.

Maplewood at Weston is the real deal - run by top notch professionals who care about the facility, its residents, their families … and it shows. [name removed] and his maintenance crew are second to none. This group couldn’t be more kind, accessible, and capable. Most important, is the enthusiasm and energy our parents exude when speaking of their experience at Maplewood. From activities to amenities and everything in between, they are thrilled to be part of such a warm and welcoming community - and thriving. Hats off to the entire Maplewood team for making our folks’ transition such a positive one - for all of us.

The staff at Maplewood was very attentive and caring. My aunt had many issues with her uncontrolled diabetes, but the nurses were on top of it and the staff did their best to get her involved in activities. If she wasn't well enough to go downstairs for activities, we often found her watching a movie on her room with a staff member. She never felt lonely.

I would rate everything a 5. This place was excellent The staff is awesome MY mother was in memory care. they were caring compassionate and addressed our concerns.

They are all pleasant, knowledgeable, and caring. It amazes me that they know everyone by name, including the guests.

The main reason we chose Maplewood at Strawbery Hill was for the location. Building size-( not too big) and the staffs ability to work with me more when mom got closer to needing additional care. Response to accidents ( falling) was very fast - that helped with care.

All the personnel show incredible compassion for the residents. They go to great lengths to plan events for every holiday season. The size of the community also feels much more like a family.
