Our first visit was welcoming. This can be a difficult decision to make for a family member. We were given a tour, then spent time going over information and asking questions. A lot to take in but we never felt rushed. Decided Emporia Place was the right choice. It has been a year now and we are happy with the care, friendly staff and activities they provide. Most importantly our father is happy and we've seen his health improve with their care. Staff keeps us well informed of his needs or health concerns. So grateful Emporia has a place like this available.

We toured this community and found that we liked the staff and the cleanliness of the environment. The menu was appealing and the list of activities would have been helpful. We wanted a community closer, but would have been happy with the care that is offered. We would recommend that families tour this community for the care of a loved one.

Good visit. Toured both assisted living and memory care communities. The person ([Removed]) I spoke with on the phone didn't think [Removed] should be in memory care, from my description. Communities are just next door to each other and rooms are the same in both buildings. Did not meet [Removed], not sure why. Persons I toured with were very nice and informative. Buildings are one of the older communities, however, they were very up to date and pleasant. Didn't see much activity in either setting, however was given the activity calendar so it appeared residents could be busy. I do think the activities are important so that residents are not just staying in their rooms. The community is off of a main street so it would be quiet. Nice courtyards. A good comfortable feeling.

This is the best place for seniors in Emporia, for sure. It feels like a family-not an institution. The staff is excellent, from the administrator to the cmas, the cooks, nurse and maintainence man. We would have made a big mistake if we had chosen another place!

I like this community for my father. The staff are attentive and caring for his needs. We like that we were able to find a community that was small. He is offered to participate in activities. He likes the menu of the variety of the menu. We would recommend the nice care of the community for other families.

The staff are all very deciated in providing the best care for their residents. They treat their residents like family and help provide them a home like atmosphere. The facility is always very clean and inviting. We always enjoy our visit there the staff makes us feel welcome. I would highly recommend this place to anyone

The staff is what makes this place special. They are caring and dedicated and work to make a family atmosphere for the residents. Knowing they are monitoring our mother's health daily gives us peace of mind and her the care and help she needs.

We toured this community for care. The staff was nice and caring. The menu looked appealing with a nice variety. They offer a lot of nice activity. The atmosphere is nice and the community has a nice feeling. We would recommend the care and value to other families for a loved one.

Things are going well so far. My mother-in-law has Alzheimers but she does her best to join in activities. I have not shared a meal with her but I have been there during meal time and she seems to enjoy the food. I ask a lot of questions while I'm there but I think they could do a better job of initiating conversations with the family.When I aks questions they do the best they can to answer them for me.

My father's experience at Vintage Park was great! The staff was friendly. Though my father does not participate in too many activities, there are activities to participate in. The facility was very clean.

Everything is working out very well since my mothers move to this community. They have been great to work with, considering I live out of state. I'am very pleased with all they have done for my family. It is a clean, and well-kept community, they do a good job with the cleanliness. The staff is great, they are taking very good care of her, and her needs. They have been very good at responding to my concerns, and addresses any issues I have right away. They have been good at accommodating us in little ways. This is a community I would recommend , it is working out very well for us.

Vintage Park @ Wamego was very friendly and homey. This is definitely a place to consider for Mom. They provide a variety of activities and have their own mini bus to transport to appointments. They appear to consider the needs and dignity of their residents in all decisions. ---[Removed]

This is a very nice community, and my mother is doing very well since her move here. She is getting better each day. They have a great staff at this community. They have been easy to work with, and very kind. I'am pleased with her move to this community. I know she is safe, and in good hands. A place for Mom was great with referring this community, and I would recommend it.

Eaglecrest allows my mother her independence and privacy, yet the staff are always nearby to assist. Eaglecrest offers opportunities for our family to participate in the activities at the community. All of the staff is kind and supportive. It is comforting to know she is safe. The community is very clean and inviting and the food is AMAZING!

Lovely facility, very homey, decorated beautifully for Christmas. Staff are friendly and always willing to go out of their way to insure resident's need are met. I feel blessed that my mother has such an outstanding facility to help her live as comfortably and independently as possible at this stage of her life.

My uncle is comfortable in this place. The meals are good, he has actually gained some weight. The place is kept clean and maintained very well. He is making friends by sitting in the lobby in the mornings to read the paper and talking to the other residents that join him. So far it is a positive experience.

They go above and beyond for their residents and families. A lot of long term employees. Their food and activities are the best in town, hands down.

My mother is doing very well since her move into this community. The staff is wonderful and tend to her every need and they always keep me updated on how she is doing. The complex is well maintained. So far, I am very happy with my decision chose this place.

I have been very impressed by the family feeling that prevades Chaucer Estates. Every staff member shows such sincerity it makes me feel that Mother is going to be cared for as if I were there.

From the moment we walked thru the front door, Vintage Care at Baldwin City was the winner. My mom loved it. It was brighter, cleaner and friendlier than any of the others we had toured. Moved both my parents in and gave not regretted it for a second. The staff is more than helpful and gave us lots of assistance. Parents have adapted well and are safe, secure and well cared for. Kudos to them all. I worked with A Place for Mom and they made this so much easier. They save you many steps and phone calls and I highly recommend them.
