They were very easy and friendly to work with at this community. The staff were very nice and attentive and they really seemed to care about the residents that were in this community. My loved one was not able to participate but I did see a lot of activities going on around the community when I visited my loved one.

If your family has the resources, this is a nice location and a good memory care community. This community is really nice. Poet's Walk allowed my loved one to have their own furniture and items from home to make it feel more like home to my loved one. This allows my loved one some more peace and comfort. The staff were patient with my loved one when getting settled into the community. Anytime I have needed to contact the staff, they have been able to get back to me quickly or answer or address my concerns immediately. I have noticed the staff making the residents feel like they are with family.

I have been recommending Morningside House to everyone. My loved one has memory care needs, in this community they make sure that the residents are neat, presentable, and socializing with other residents. This has been a night and day experience compared to other communities. The staff are amazing! They are very responsive to answering my questions or addressing my concerns. Some of the care my loved one receives is hygiene care, dressing assistance, medication management, and more. My loved one's health has improved since they have been at Morningside. I feel at peace knowing my loved one is here. Some of the activities include games, bus transportation, arts and crafts, and more for the residents to choose from. The food looks good. The community is good at getting my loved one down to the dining room to try and entice them to eat. The community washes my loved one clothes and hangs them up for my loved one. This has been a huge relief knowing nothing is getting lost in this process.

My Dad adapted very easily and quickly to this new transition. It doesn't have to be a very difficult and painful decision for everyone involved. It was the right place at the right time. He said "this is a lot better than living alone and what I was trying to manage, and why did I wait so long".

We were under a lot of pressure to quickly find a place for our loved one and the staff were very efficient and gave us all the information we needed. They were super friendly and he received excellent care during his stay.

The Landing is expensive but when your looking at the entire package - the care and attention our loved one is receiving, and the location is it worth it. Our loved one is now on a pureed diet but they are still very nutritious and she is keeping her weight on. They have so many activities planned throughout the entire day which is great.

This was a wonderful community and the people were wonderful. My loved one just felt more comfortable at another community. The tour was great and they gave me all of the information that I needed. This was the second choice of where to go with our loved one.

If you want a place that is going to give you good care and special attention this is a good choice for you or your loved one. They have activities like a balloon game, musical entertainment, and they also have dogs come in to visit with the residents and they love it.

Our family had a virtual tour, it was rally good they were very helpful in answering all of our questions and they even gave us suggestions for other communities we were looking at.

When it comes to the meals and dining service there is a nice variety to choose from and the food is always well prepared. Our loved one is really enjoying all of the activities and staying busy. The value for cost is completely worth it and gives us peace of mind.

We toured this community and as soon as we walked in we felt this was the correct place, we could even see ourselves living there. The aesthetics, the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff really stood out to us. We like the dining room experience, it is like walking into a restaurant and not a cafeteria, and they seem to be very accommodating no matter the needs. Also there are a ton of activities for the residents to participate in.

If you can afford it, I would suggest you put my loved one here. I have had a good experience for my loved one being here as well. Some of the activities offered are church, music, arts and crafts, holiday parties, and more for the residents to partake in.

I am so grateful to Poet's Walk for the fun and dignity they bring to my mom. She has just recently moved in, but I have never witnessed such hands on attentive staff. Our relations counselor, [name removed], has bent over backwards to make the move seemless. He has gone waaaaay above and beyond what I would've expected. So grateful! And honestly, everyone I have met so far seems to genuinely care and want to make my mom feel comfortable and valued. Several other family members have shared with me how much they love Poet's Walk and all the wonderful staff. Grateful to God for leading me to this caring community!

This is a small community well educated staff that are very attentive. They respond quickly and communicate well. they are also very adaptive.

For the first time in many years, our mom is getting the medical care and attention she needs. It was not until [name removed] (Head of Nursing) arrived at Poet's Walk, did this happen. She and [name removed] (Director) work as a seamless tag team to insure that a high level of care is achieved....even when it is not easy. I am in absolute awe of how this team has achieved as much as they have in such a short time, and am looking forward to experiencing the next steps!!!!

A few months ago, my sister & I were looking for a new memory care residence to move our mom to. At that time, Poet's Walk had nobody managing the residence and we felt our mom deserved a better quality of care than she was receiving there.. Then, [name removed], the new director, arrived. It has barely been three months, and there is no longer a reason to move Mom. [name removed - director] has cleaned house replacing (and adding) staff where needed, implemented training and orientation for all, created a more targeted activity program, and has built a cleaner, safer and more caring community. Individual needs of residents are being addressed on an ongoing basis, and as the out-of-town daughter of a parent with Dementia, I appreciate the candid, yet empathetic support given to our family. I am "wowed" by the progress and direction of this community. A Place For Mom will need to add additional star options for Poet's Walk in another few months!!!!

We chose Morningside House because it is very conveniently located and it is not too big and not too small. The rooms are a very good size. They are not doing some of their activities at the moment due to not having a driver to take them places. I would tell others to make sure you do all of your research and know what you can and cannot afford, some items are negotiable. I would absolutely recommend them to others looking.

I really liked what I heard when talking to this facility, but I was not able to afford it.
