My Mom was very anxious & disappointmented when she first moved in because she wanted to be home instead but was physically unable. The program director & wellness director was SO patient with my Mom as she tried to adapt & very responsive to our questions & concerns.

The cozy atmosphere as you walk in. The residence rooms I viewed were spacious and up to date. [Name removed] was fantastic she took the time to understand what interests my dad haves. A question I was ask was “ what will I gain out of having my dad here “ and my answer was A peace of mind I wouldn’t have to worry anymore.

Everything I was looking for in assisted living, and then some.

My family moved my Mom to Poets Walk 4 months ago from upstate NY. We moved her from a memory care unit after she fell and damaged her hip. Compared to the facility in NY this one deserves 5 stars. The best thing about the care is all the care givers have a manager checking their work. The medical service is better than any I have seen. The activities are very good. They always ask or really encourage patient involvement. They have most medical care, physical therapy right on site.

The staff is wonderful, very caring and friendly and truly love their jobs. They are supportive of each other and often go the extra mile to work a few extra hours or extra shifts if needed. Always willing to help and answer questions. While the assisted living area has many great activities, there needs to be more activities for men in the memory care wing. The food is excellent with a great variety available.

Taking your loved one from their own home and placing them in to any alternative living situation is one of the hardest things in life! Thanks to Poet’s Walk and their incredibly understanding, caring, knowledgeable, and supportive staff, for us this process has successfully ended in tears of joy. From the initial visit, in their private comforting conference room, where they had been frank but caring. They helped us understand the process and answered every question with kindness and respect. To literally holding our hands when overwhelmed, scared, and exhausted and encouraging us often. Every visit from the first, thru several days moving things in for mom, we were repeated greeted by upbeat, engaging staff that always had a simile. Smiles and Hellos not just for us, but each resident the staff encountered. The home is full of LIFE! Over several days we witnessed residents engaged in an array of activities, therapies, conversation, and staff truly encouraging them out of their rooms and into interacting. One of our great fears was that this disease has characteristics in which you worry your loved one will be “kicked - out” or worse avoided. Not here! They understand that these characteristics are part of the disease. Witnessing this lively and consistent interaction, further assures you that they are in the right place. The facility is beautifully decorated and has a very upscale hotel, co-op look. We especially like the Trending Technology feature. I also like that my father is able to participate, share , learn, and connect with other spouses/loved one in groups and meetings. Although Mom will never be in her house again, thanks to all at Poet’s Walk, Fredericksburg…. she is now home

Wonderful, beautiful new memory care facility, very well managed with an amazingly caring staff providing great support for residents. The only facility I've found where both spouses can stay together even if only one qualifies for memory care. After now having my parents here nearly a year, I can't emphasize enough how resident focused the staff are! So many staff members I've spoken with have experienced a relative who lived with Alzheimer's that it's obvious their work here represents a sense of mission for them.....and it truly shows through the sense of joy and caring they show for the residents on a daily basis!

Nice size rooms; the 1 bedroom includes a small kitchenette (fridges have large enough freezers for ice cream). Friendly staff & nice selection of activities.

Employees are very caring.

Love the employees at this facility. They keep the residents busy. They have a lot of patience.

Sunrise was a beautiful place and there was a paved walking path. Much of it overlooks a golf course. Mom could transition from Personal care to memory care. The rooms were nice and they have a shared room options. Their costs are very reasonable.

All of the staff at Cardinal Village treat the residents with concern, caring, and respect. They constantly check on the residents and become very familiar with each persons personality traits and specific needs. They never fail to contact me when they feel a special concern for [name removed]. I have recommended Cardinal Village to several persons and will continue to do so.

Morning Side has been a blessing to our family. The staff is friendly and helpful. My Mother-in law gets great care. The home is clean and very nicely decorated. We as a family think she is in good hands. The Home is very close by, for all the family. Morning side has meant the needs of our family. The staff does an excellent job with the residences.

Moving to assisted living is perhaps the most heartbreaking event a family will ever face. It was for me but I knew that I could no longer provide comfort, contentment, and basic support and service to my wife. Fortunately, from the hour of arrival the environment at Poet's Walk was so welcoming, caring, and understanding that my wife felt a home there at once. After three months that is still the case. My wife was suffering from severe depression making her life a life of sadness and lacking in self worth. That all changed after her entry into PW. What I thought would never happen: the end of depression has happened and has remained and my family and I are forever grateful for the kindness, caring, and professionalism of all of the care givers. The transition from before to after has been magnificent and we are so grateful to PW and the entire staff

My father was in the memory care section. The staff was attentive and caring. They took real good care of his medical needs. The atmosphere was upbeat and pleasant. I would recommend this facility.

It was very clean and inviting. The residents seemed happy and engaged. The staff was very pleasant and attentive to the residents. I would feel very comfortable with my mother living here. I think she would be happy.

Morningside is a definte possibility. I was truly impressed with the facility, the services, and the staff. The price is right.

Exceptional place to live or work, dedicated staff and enthusiastic residents. The dinning experience is great and the wellness staff especially nurses are five star grade.

The staff and the care they provide to their residents and families at Poet's Walk Sarasota are exemplary. To a person, I have found the staff to be knowledgeable and compassionate. This beautiful new memory care community is a jewel in the crown of Sarasota Assisted Living. Led by Executive Director, [name removed], staff goes the distance to make every person that walks through their door feel welcome and at home. The community itself is modern and very attractive, but the care and competency exuded by the staff is what makes Poet's Walk a wonderful community. I would be happy to have a family member reside in this community.
