This was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. After my dad was living with me for eight years it got to the point where I can no longer care for him. I toured many facilities and Riverview was the best. Leadership genuinely cares about its residents and their families. The staff has been amazing. Food is great and my dad seems happy here. Not to mention, the views are stunning! ??

I recently relocated my dad from gold choice and I can not have been happier with the decision. The team at Grand Villa Ormond have been amazing. I can rest easy now knowing my Dad is getting adequate amounts of food access to hot water and overall better care.

A few months ago I wanted to volunteer in a senior living so I went to Grand Villa where I helped with an event that was going on. The activities for the day were so fun and I really liked the residents there. The staff was helpful with anything I needed And to point me in the right direction of the life and enrichment coordinator. I would feel safe and happy that my loved one is here .

Got to spend sometime with [name removed]. My mother was very impressed with the quality and location of the facility. the most important thing to her was that she woukld be near the downtown and the bay. This is an amazing facility and wants to be close to all the activities. She's very excited to be moving in here in 2025!

I have been living at Grandvilla for about 3 months now And I am loving absolutely it! I want to thank all of the wonderful staff for supporting me and continue helping me meet my standards of living.

I am just moving into this beautiful community within a couple weeks. The Grand Villa has very Nice People and friendly staff. The admission was a very smooth process and highly recommended. Beautiful community

I AM JUST MOVING IN TO THIS GREAT PLACE WITH A FEELING OF HOME. A PLACE FOR MOM GAVE ME MANY CHOICES AND AFTER VISITING 8 PLACES I FELT I FOULD MY HOME AWAY FROM HOME AT THE GRANDVILLA. I WAS GREETED AND INTRODUCED TO EVERYONE WE CAME IN CONTACT WITH. I FOUND A SPECIAL FRIEND IN MY COORDINATOR AND FOUND MY BALCONY APT THAT I AM MOVING INTO SLOWLY..I CANNOT WAIT TO JOIN THE MANY FUNCTIONS THAT ARE AVAILABLE EACH AND EVERY DAY, AND MEET NEW FRIENDS..THE MAIN SELLING POINT IN MY SEARCH IS THAT I DO NOT HAVE TO MOVE INTO ANY OTHER PLACE TO GO FROM INDEPENDENT TO ASSISTENT LIVING TO MEMORY CARE..THE FOOD LOOKS GREAT BUT THE FEEL OF BEING WELCOMED AND CARED ABOUT IS THE MOST REWARDING FEELING IN A PLACE TO LIVE. The community has such an amazing warm and welcoming feel. Everyone we spoke to was extremely friendly. The people were very insightful on all answering all the questions we had. Many residents offered to speak with us, that was very helpful.I was very pleased with what i saw. This was our 2nd visit to this community. Before meeting at the community, they sent me pictures and videos' to show my aunt and uncle which was very helpful in preparing them for the visit. It was less overwhelming when we brought them in. That seemed to help get them on board and embarrass the idea of relocating.

This place is great! The food is delicious and the staff is so accommodating. It was nice that we could stay with mom when we were visiting from out of town. It is a perfect location that sits in the heart of Venice!

I’ve met some nice people. The food could be better I will say. Other than that I’m alright. All the help is good. I love the staff including [name removed], [name removed]and [name removed]. The driver is very accommodating. I wish there was more activities other than that I really have no complaints. The activities director does the best he can with his budget. I also love my room.

I regularly visit a friend at Grand Villa. I have always been impressed with the cleanliness and friendly staff… and availability of fresh coffee! My friend recently moved to the 3rd floor. While it is a small shared room, the kitchen is quite large. We walked around the 3rd floor and there are plenty of options to get out of the room and into nice common areas and even two open air balconies! I would choose this place for myself if the need ever arises.

Facility is spacious, open and well managed. I would recommend a loved one choose to stay there for assisted living.

The ALF side staff are exceptionally friendly, understanding and compassionate. The memory care staff are poorly staffed. While my mother was there, the nursing manager was unfriendly and argumentative, and the staff, direct staff, while very friendly didn't speak English so when you're dealing with someone who's scared and afraid and not understanding where they are and inability to communicate, makes it very difficult to calm that person down. The staff would call me all hours of the day and night to come take care of my mother when I was paying them thousands of dollars a month to take care of my mother. Upon moving my mother, I learned that the Director of nursing, [name removed], was being put in charge of memory care moving forward. [name removed] is amazing and I have no doubt that the memory care will be turned around under her direction. She's spectacular.

From the moment my mother and I walked in, I new this was exactly what we were looking for. The place is nice and clean and the staff is very friendly. The nurses are very friendly. We love the atmosphere here. I was afraid my mother was not going to like it, but she was happy to stay in this place. They really make you feel at home, in particular [Name Removed] was really nice and helpful to us and very sympathetic towards me since this was a very thought decision to let some else take care of my elderly mother. [Name Removed] was also very helpful and very friendly. I am very glad we picked out this place for my mom!

Sister had multiple surgeries and set backs for 6 months. Finally was able to go to Grand Villas to try and recuperate fully. She is very comfortable, has good attention when needed(which is a lot),loves the food,gets ample therapy’s so that she can hopefully be independent again. There are many different activities for anyone to be involved in all throughout the day to keep busy such as movies, arts and crafts, live music,ice cream socials, and more! Employees here actually like to smile at you when you visit and that is saying a lot! Also when we have a concern pertaining to our loved one they are genuinely concerned. I would feel very confident in sending my loved ones here to Grand Villas.

Great customer service all staff was very friendly property was very clean was touring from another state and decided to stop by to see the facility was very pleased with the staff will be making future plans to have my Love One to reside here

What a wonderful adventure I have experienced in finding the right community for my very dear friend who is 95 years old. When I first walked into Grand Villa and met [name removed], I was lost at what my next steps and options where for finding living accommodations for someone who lived totally independent up to February 21st. From start to finish, getting her moved in has been such a pleasurable transition and when I leave to go home, I know that she is truly in the best place that is her next chapter, and being taken care of by caring, well trained and competent staff that give you a true family feeling. Thank you Grand Villa and All staff for being extra special.

My mom is currently a resident at Grand Villa of DeLand. Mom has dementia and her status changed when she wandered away. She has been in the Memory Care Unit since November 2022. The facility and the staff have been terrific. She is doing well and seems to enjoy being there.

My loved one was previously a resident at Grand Villa of Ormond Beach. It is a small facility, so it is easy to find things. It is probably not good for someone who is very independent, but could be ideal for those who need care. For example: help with medications, laundry and personal hygiene. I would recommend Grand Villa of Ormond Beach to others.

I was looking for a place for my older brother and made an appointment at Grand Villa. From the moment I stepped in the door I knew it was the right place. They are some of the most caring staff I've ever met. I toured a few others none comes close. If you are in need of elder care this is the place.
