Melanie was very professional and highly effective at communicating the offerings of the community. We appreciated her openness to the 'Day Stay' concept which could fulfill a more immediate need. The facility was very nice and we appreciated the options of the combination of independent living with added assisted living as an option especially in the care of a couple coming in with different needs. This probably is closest to meeting our immediate needs. The two bedroom apartment (royal oak) that she showed us was by far the most 'homey' of all of the rooms that we saw and would provide the best transition option if they moved today. I liked the indoor carpeted hallways. The facility was very clean and appealing in every way and the festive decorations were a fun touch we didn't see at other places. We didn't see many residents, again due to the time of the day of the tour. Of the residents we saw, Melanie greeted two by name and they responded positively to her as well. We would definitely keep this community on the list of options for the future care of our parents.

We've been very happy with Greatwood. It's the only facility that we've had my in-laws in so I don't have anything to compare it to but I would say that the value has been very good. My father-in-law is refusing to get involved in any of the activities. We've looking into them for him but he's not interested. She has dementia and we're probably going to have to look at another facility before long because we've had to add night time home health because she needs more supervision.

I think Garden Estates has a great group of people over there, I do think the money per square foot is a lot. You're going to get more at the Meridian than Garden Estates. We thought it was extremely clean and the food was good but it doesn't have the same selection as meridian.

I can say that the staff here is very focused on caring and maintaining a "homey" atmosphere. It os also very clean. The chef is amazing, the food is great quality, with great variety and is served restaurant style, and the price is more than competitive. There are separate wings for the independent and they have lots of activities. Go check it out if you are looking for a place for your parent.

My mother loves the Court. She can be as active or not as she wants. The staff is fabulous and the food is really good.

I love them, the staff, they are so loving and so caring. They are amazing, the communication is excellent between them and us, anything that happens they pick up the phone and let you know and we want to be hands on so its great. They go out of their way to accomodate my dad, he's had some hard time and they really have gone out of their way. The dementia unit is very small, not many rooms, its a small wing but its a small facility as well and I think they're able to give a little bit more one on one care because of that. The only thing that I would like to see improved is for the dementia unit to have a make over, but they can only do what they can with the funds they're given. I cannot say enough good about them, every nurse I talk to is more than willing to talk to me, they're doing everything they can, I have no doubt about that.

When we visited the community it just seemed so warm and welcoming. The residents appeared to really be happy, which showed me what type of care our loved one would be getting I would very highly recommend this community to anyone.

We moved here a year and a half ago we have not found anything wrong with our care. The staff is very efficient & greatly appreciated. We feel like we are apart of a family! Our children and Grandchildren are happy about where we are.

So far we're extremely pleased. My mother fell and I got a very rapid response from them. I'm really impressed. The activities, I think they're fine. I'm just hoping my mother will participate in them. I think they have the right amount for people that age. I do know that there are a couple of people at the front desk that should be more informed aobut what's available in the area. If you're going to work at the front desk I think you need to be more knowledgeable about what's around you. That's the only negative and it's not even a negative. It's just constructive criticism.

Beautiful, nice people, pricey

I must say I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with director at Garden Estates. She actually set the tone for the rest of my visits. She helped me formulate questions that I needed to ask. The facilities were very attractive. The room sizes were more than adequate, and the staff that I encountered were very pleasant. Every area that I saw was clean, fresh, and ordor free. The calendar of activities were very impressive. There was an excercise class going on when I was there.

Looks like this one will be her favorite (actually the only one we could get her to visit) We are working on the necessary info, and hope to complete it very soon. Thanks

Like this one, independant and assisted living - favorite

This place is where I have moved my Mother. She's in independent living and I love this place. She's still adjusting (been there a month), but overall I'm very satisfied.

This has been a positive experience for us. Garden Estates staff are receptive to any concerns that I have brought up. The only drawback is the food since my loved one has moved in. The food experience during our tour was much better at the time. The food decisions are now coming from the corporate office, according to [name removed]. I believe the food needs to be updated, as a lot of the residents don't care for the food offered. There are three meals provided. There is one special and then an anytime menu for the residents to order off of at lunch and dinner.

Not as bright and updated as I would have liked for my loved one. A little more on the expensive side in comparison to what all was being provided.

They are just now opening the community back up. I've been very pleased with Providence Assisted Living. The staff are always willing to answer questions or accommodate requests from the families about their loved one. The staff are very prompt in getting my loved one ready for appointments. We like the personal attention to the residents.
