[name removed] the general manager is a gem, and her staff is superb. My mom is flourishing with new friends and enjoying the many activities. The property is tastefully appointed and very new. And the importance of the meals cannot be overstated. Food matters, and the chefs do a wonderful job, and she raves about the dishes on the menu that change daily. Everyone at The Enclave was so warm and welcoming when my mother moved in. They treated her like family and it showed. When my mom needed more care than was available in the Independent side, they really helped in providing the information and direction I needed to have her moved into Memory Care. They also treated me and the rest of the family warmly and with genuine care and respect. The facility is clean and well maintained, with nice amenities and the meals are quite good! The residents care about their neighbors and it really feels like a community.

we moved our mom into lombard place's memory care 3 years ago and it was the best decision we ever made--after a long journey at other facilities, first assisted and then memory cares. it is not an easy thing, to hand a vulnerable parent off to a group of folks you dont know and will hope they take good care of them. from the receptionists to the nurses, to the medical assistants and cleaning staff, from those there doing rehab programming--every single employee at lombard place was warm and welcoming to us and caring, gentle and loving with our mom. this is not an easy population and the need is growing and lombard place is doing it with care and grace. we are living much longer lives and we can't always take care of our aging parents--so lombard place is filling a huge need. our mom required a lot of care--and everyone on the memory care floor succeeded in providing it. they were wonderful and timely with communicating with us when issues arose. the memory care was bright and clean.

The staff are awesome people!! They go above and beyond to take care of my mom. I would absolutely recommend Adventura at Overland Park to others!

Mom liked that they had an organized group of residents who welcome new folks and help them meet people. She enjoyed the meals, and 2 per day is mostly what she normally eats. They had a variety of activities such a craft groups, games, and social hours with various live music performances. She could engage as much or as little as she feels on ant given day.

They are absolutely wonderful in every way possible! Everyone is friendly, the facility is clean, the food is amazing. [name removed] and [name removed] are great to work with! My mom LOVES living there and is very happy! Thanks SO much for helping us find LTILF!!!!

From the moment we stepped through their doors, we felt welcomed, supported, and reassured that our Mom was in the best possible hands. The staff is not only highly skilled but deeply empathetic, treating every resident with dignity, patience, and kindness. The caregivers take the time to understand everyone's needs, ensuring they feel valued and respected. Their dedication to creating meaningful moments is heartwarming, whether through engaging activities, gentle encouragement, or simply offering a comforting presence. When the time came for hospice care, we were overwhelmed with the level of attention and emotional support the team provided—not just for our Mom, but for our entire family. They do good job, very responsive. Smaller facility that residents don't get lost in. I would rate them all a 5, with the exception of the food. That seems to be a bone of contention with my mom, it's either too much or too spicy- I think this is more reflective of my mom's taste vs. the food.

1 Was able to bring a pet 2 a lot of activities 3 happy hour every Friday including a band 4 driver to groceries & doctors 5 bbq during summer 6 good dinners 7 staff are very friendly 8 very clean 9 meeting a lot of nice people 10 full kitchen, 950 sq ft two bedrooms and a balcony 11 staff check on them each morning 12 washer and dryer for their use 13 hair dresser 14 nice outside area to walk 14 garage rental if needed. SHE IS VERY HAPPY

Of all the places we visited, WSL had the friendliest residents. As we were touring, residents stopped us and told us how much they liked it there and hoped Mom would consider moving in. Mom has been there a couple months now. She loves the social interaction. She's participated in several scheduled activities. She seems happy with her decision to live at WSL. Her one bedroom apartment is spacious. She was able to keep her dining room hutch and table. The in unit laundry is convenient. She's able to grow flower and tomatoes on her balcony.

I like the staff in the front office, the staff who work with the residents and all the nurses - head nurse, medicine nurse, speech therapist and Geriatric NP. The residents” activity calendar always has a variety of things for the residents to do. There are 2 libraries and lots of gas fireplaces. There are many windows throughout the building so it is bright and welcoming

Staff and other residents are very nice and welcoming. The atmosphere is pleasant. The food is good. There are plenty of activities to do. Everyone watches out for others and helps you wherever you want to go. It is bright and has a lot of artwork. Residents can decorate their door on the outside and decorate the inside of their apartment with their personal belongings. Recommend it for anyone looking for independent or assisted living ... or memory care.

It's a good place. Staff friendly, responsive and helpful. Facility clean and well appointed. Yes, we would recommend the community to other families based on the experience so far.

My husband just moved into Lombard Place and our experience has been wonderful. On a Friday night, his smoke alarm began to chirp and the maintenance staff had gone home for the weekend. First some aids tried replacing the battery but that didn't help. They put in a work order and [name removed] from maintenance came back and replaced the smoke alarm. I was so happy. I was already in the process of packing my husband up to take him home for the weekend but their quick response saved the day. There are so many activities and ways to socialize without being forced to be on a rigid schedule. Everyone is friendly and the staff is always around and great about learning everyone's name. As my husband's caregiver, they are great about keeping in contact with me, while allowing my husband to direct his own care at the same time. That is a fine line to walk and they do it well.

My mother has been very pleased with all the staff she interacted with. The facility is clean and well kept.

Management and staff are very caring. They work very hard to care for residents and their families. Yes, we would definitely recommend the community to other families based on the experience so far.

They got to know [name removed]and watched out for him, At 100, that was appreciated. And the overall feel of the place was very good.

Westbrook is the kind of place that everyone wants for their loved ones. After seeing the exceptional care my mother-in-law received from the Memory Care staff and its director in particular, my parents and I agreed that Westbrook was also right them. They liked that the Assisted Living community wasn’t too big and that the facility is beautifully decorated and well-maintained. I found that every WB staff member is genuinely friendly, professional, caring, and empathetic to the unique needs of each resident. The nurses were patient and kind and communicated health concerns with me promptly. The caregivers embraced my folks and many developed warm relationships with them. The maintenance team was responsive and helpful. The activities coordinators worked hard to engage residents in daily activities. My folks lived in Westbrook for 2 years and everyone who works there contributed in making it a true home for them. I highly recommend Westbrook Senior Living.

Memory care unit has had some turnovers on staff but everyone has been very helpful and nice.
