We are very happy with Story Point. I would give them a nine or 10 in all categories. They have a lot to do. My parents just don't participate. There are always activities and fun things to do. The food is getting better on a daily basis housekeeping does a nice job and Corso care is taking pretty good care of my dad's needs. It was a good decision for us in the enhanced living package that Story Point offers worked well as a go-between from independent living to assisted living, it's expensive, but not any more expensive than anywhere else and they do a nice job for the money.

My wife and I have been residents of StoryPoint Collierville for four years. Moving here was one of the best decisions we ever made. The staff is outstanding, our apartment is great and the food is wonderful. We are more active than we ever were in our home. There are a wide variety of social activities we enjoy. The opportunity to live independently with 24 hour support, if needed, gives us peace of mind. If you’re looking for a place where you feel like family StoryPoint is the place. Come visit, you’ll see for yourself.

Great staff and fun. Lots of smiles.great events. Great intrtaction with mt pleasant community. Live halloween and summer events always nice staff. Had lots of fun. Very clean and beautiful building. Thanks.

I love the annual picnic this is the second year I have came and I can't say nothing but wonderful things

We moved our mom to Danbury about a month ago.The transition has been wonderful. The staff has been kind, and provide care with dignity. They have kept our mom engaged and social with the numerous activities provided. We love that the facility, including mom's room, is always clean. The food has been great, too! We are thankful for the attention to care given, because it is home to so many.

[name removed]my Sister, is living at StoryPoint in Findlay. Her girls moved [name removed] in on [date removed] weekend. She's doing very well. Eating nutritional meals and beginning to join in on a few activities. We, [names removed] and myself, are all very relieved that [name removed] is in such a nice and safe environment. 'A Place for Mom' was SO helpful getting in touch with numerous facilities. StoryPoint was chosen for several reasons. Quality of facility, Many options as far as activities along with wonderful meal plans plus, both her Daughters along with Grandchildren are 4/5 minutes away. 'A Place For Mom' definitely took a lot of the stress away in what can be a very stressful time. We are so grateful to everyone who helped us with this transition!

I love them here. Danbury's staff is amazing and so friendly, everyone works with me and my father to get his meds before we head out for chemo appts, the doctor checks in on him, the apartment was newly remodeled, is clean and well-kept. He's got a decent size fridge, kitchen sink and cabinets, so it feels more like a studio than a dorm room. The food is great, and the portions are not huge so you always can sample different sides and have room for desert. The lobby is clean, the hallways are wide, they have a physical therapist and therapy room on site, which we're taking advantage of. The bathrooms are huge, have open shelving and lots of it which is great because nothing gets lost in the back of a drawer or hidden in a cabinet. Every shower has a built in shower seat. We had a lot of furniture to put together and they let us use their recycle bin for all the cardboard- that's important because the Gardens in Florida where my dad was at last wouldn't let me use their dumpsters when I was cleaning out his room. They lent us a bed until my father's arrived. We wound up not using it but it was a nice gesture. His a/c heating unit isn't tilted properly and there was some water dripping and damage to his wall. They responded quickly and the hvac guy is fixing it now. A big one for me is that the place doesn't smell like nursing home, the only smells are the food being served at mealtimes, which is nice. You can get meals any time between the serving hours, so there's no wheelchair/walker gridlock at meal time. The residents aren't treated like children- they aren't given assigned seating, and they can move around and socialize as they please. They are equipped for hospice in-room, and they have memory care as well, I think that's in a different building though. The location backs up against a country club golf course, so there's quiet and lots of trees. They also can see fireworks from there, etc. Children and families are in and out visiting, walking around. And it's a 7 minute drive from my house. I absolutely love it, this place was a no-brainer, really. My dad hasn't done any of the activities or outings, but he's very comfortable there.

My loved one says she is really happy there. I would absolutely recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for themselves or a loved one.

Honestly, we didn't really have an experience with Danbury due to the timeframe . The experience we did have was getting him set up to be there, and our experience with [name removed] and [name removed] was wonderful. [name removed] gave us a fantastic tour and was wonderful about helping us get everything set up, and the subsequent conversation I had with [name removed] (sp?) about the planning and the needs we would have for my father-in-law was equally wonderful and they worked with us on many different items about making him comfortable and his care plan and other tidbits. I also did have a follow up conversation with the director of nursing ([name removed], perhaps?) regarding his care plan, and she was equally as wonderful. You can mark those all as a five in my opinion.

Super clean, great atmosphere for residents, and family. Very well ran, everyone is friendly and helpful. My mom has been very well taken care of, and hasn't been happier in a long time. She's safe, happy, and comfortable. Great place, highly recommended!

You can tell from the moment you walk in this building that the staff all have one thing in common- they love their jobs and the people that live there. I don’t have the words that describe how the employees here go above and beyond to see smiles and laughter. This community has done a lot of changing in the past year 1/2. It’s honestly amazing. Keep coming with the improvements it’s definitely not going unnoticed!

The facility was very clean and bright. They have several areas to gather, as well as a separate activity room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food I tried when moving my mom was tasty (hats off to Chef [name removed]!). The apartment my mom chose was perfect for her.

From my first interactions with staff at White Lake Assisted Living during a tour through moving my parents into their apartment I have had nothing but a wonderful experience. Interactions with the community director, executive director, LPN, facilities director, and staff are always positive. The facility itself is very clean and inviting and comfortable. The apartment size my parents are in within the memory care unit is acceptable. Their unit is the largest available. The main living area allows for their queen size bed, 2 recliners, 2 bedside tables, an end table, tv, TV stand, floor lamp, and cupboard for storage. The closet is large enough for their clothes, a dresser, a small wire drawer unit, hamper, and shoes and bedding. The bathroom is spacious enough for a standing drying rack, storage shelves and still space for wheelchair and walker use. Both parents seem to enjoy their meals and the staff has been very responsive to learning likes and dislikes. While the move in process was rushed due to extenuating circumstances all staff were accommodating due to the compressed schedule. All questions were answered and all available programs explained. I would recommend White Lake Assisted Living to others looking for a place for their elderly loved ones.

I like that I can look out my window at the courtyard, and cars and my apartment is close to everything. Staff are friendly, food is good. They have exercise and the car show was great. Best place ever

Apartment size was bigger than most. The layout of the apartment gave space for a larger dining area. Staff was attentive and went beyond to help when needed.

They are a great staff to work with. Always have my mom at focus. The executive director is very prompt and takes concerns seriously. It is very clean. The aides are kind and caring. Of course I wish it cost less . She is happy and well cared for

The staff is very caring we have taken my mom out on a couple of vacations and she had a hospital stay. They called and checked on her. When she was ready to go back I called the RN and she was on top of everything and very willing to get everything mom needed together for us to leave for vacation the next morning. I have no complaints about Story point or the faculty. She made new friends right away. Her apartment is big enough for her and more items than she needs, but that's not the facilities fault. To sum this up She's happy to be there.

Everyone is so nice and friendly. The managers are so helpful!! I came here with a couple of personal problems and the receptionist and Executive Director help me work through thru them. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate them.

The staff at Independence Village of Avon Lake are wonderful. The facility is very clean. Apartments are a good size. There are a ton of activities available to participate in. It is an active community.
