Transforming Age

During my tour i was able to get all of my questions answered. I was given a proper tour of the community and shown the activities that are offered. There were a lot of wonderful residents on site that were nice. One thing i really liked was the complimentary meal that the community offered. Everything was organized and overall i had a great tour.

The first time I given tour I was impressed with the friendliness of the people. The smiles of the people who were already living there. While on my tour I was impressed with the many different activities that are for through out the week. You can chose to participate or not. The activities are not expensive at all. The independent 55+ individuals are a very active group. They have a table with bulletin board with activities for the month listed of what is going on, a file with the apartment numbers special announcements. Calendars to take individually to put up on refrigerator in your apartment and a menu for Heather Manor. News of what is happening in the elevator and activities and classes are in the elevator and upcoming events in elevator too. The elevator is like a moving news board changing all the time if you live on the second or third floors. The first floors it is posted around on the bulletin board. Their is no way a person is not kept informed of what is going on activities wise. Word of mouth is probably the other biggest way, because we all love to talk about everything.

This community is our second choice. We may be moving my mom here once her dementia progresses as they offer a high level of care. The community is bigger and brighter than the one she is at now. They offer a wide variety of activities.

The staff are friendly and willing to help with anything. I have participated in a few of the daily activities offered. I have not had a chance to try the food yet. I would recommend this clean and well taken care of community.

My parents are settling in nicely at this community. Mom is a little more involved in the activities offered. They have a garden community for the residents to participate in. The staff are friendly and have been great. The community is well taken care of. The food is good and one of the reason they chose to move there.

We can say that the staff at Tradition all strive for excellence. Our comfort and needs are met with enthusiasm and a desire to care for every detail. The apartmeent was in excellent condition when we moved in. Our desire to enter into the life of apartment living has been an enjoyable experience. We hope to stay here for many years and would recommend to our friends.

The staff is very nice here and they always go out of their way to help when needed. The residents here are very personable and nice too. There are lots of fun activities for the residents to participate in and the residents seem to love them.

My parents have been living at Traditions for 4 months. They really like the people and the staff. My parents had to make a few adjustments and Traditions was very helpful and willing to make the changes. They enjoy the food and all the activities offered. And the bonus is their apartment is 2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms. That was important to them. A quote from my dad "I'm very happy here."

Beautiful setting, right next to a gorgeous park, walking trails, lake, ducks, geese. Also a great private courtyard for residents only! I toured and loved the place, quiet neighborhood, friendly atmosphere, lots of activities for those who care to partake in them. Highly recommended!

My wife has been at the Waterford Manor Assisted Living Community for a little more than 2 months now, and so far I have been very pleased with the choice. The friendliness of the staff is one thing I noticed right away... and still do! I am impressed with the quality of the nursing care and the creative activities that are part of every day life at the Waterford. The physical surroundings are warm and inviting, and the cuisine is exceptional.

Heathers Manor is the place I would have wanted my parents to live at (they are both deceased now). They are compassionate, caring and have a lot of fun with activities.

Heathers Manor has a lot of longevity with their employees. It is comforting to know that the residents are cared for by such passionate people. The residents seem genuinely happy and had nothing but great things to say about the staff, care, and food.

They really stay on top of things at Waterford Manor, and stay in touch with the residents. They get to really know the residents personally, which creates a genuine feeling of belonging. I can't really think of much they could do to improve.

It went pretty well, they kept it clean, and the staff was friendly. They had plenty of activities. She liked the food. The only problem I had was when I went to pick up my mother, it was Sunday evening about 8:00-8:30, and there was no one there. Most of the residents were asleep and there was no one at the front desk. I had to bang on the door for about five minutes. I personally think someone should be manning the front desk. They knew I was coming and what time.

Waterford Manor was a great choice for my mom. The staff was super friendly and helpful and always called me if something came up. The food is the greatest and the variety of menu items was super. There was always a activity going on to keep residents busy and the staff really gets to know their residents and treats them like family.

The apartment is larger than other units seen for the price and has a full kitchen and accessible bathroom. Although it also has a washer and dryer in the apartment, I don't see it being used much. Staff has made this process very easy.

My mom needed memory care so many things the Alma Via community offers were not interesting or appropriate for her. That said, the staff in the memory care unit was lovely and very helpful. My mother survived just a very short time after moving in but we felt she got tremendous attention and an outpouring of support for her and all our family. It is impossible to judge financial value. We got services that my mother really needed and we paid quite a bit for them but not more than the going rate for similar services in San Francisco. The staff at Alma Via really do seem to live their values about the dignity of each resident and were wonderful to work with.

It is a lot of money, it is fine. I have nothing to compare it with. I like the way that they have the food, if you want to eat there or here or whatever, it's an option. I can't think of anything that they could do better. There is a lot of things going on here. It is fine for me at this point.

I am very pleased with my apartment. I would have liked a little more storage. The staff is very welcoming and continues to be helpful and very pleasant to work with. There is a variety of activities so one could be busy if you so choose.

Staff were welcoming, helpful, compassionate. Director is attentive and helpful and even protective, in a positive way, of her residents. Facility is very nice, great meals, positive engagement activities.
