Very friendly staff. Extremely helpful in answering guestions and excellent tour guide. Showed a genuine interest in our needs and what we wanted in our lives. I appreciated [name removed] enthusiasm and honest concern for my sister and me.

It's a fabulous little community. The roads are a bit tight. But it's a fabulous, independent living community overall.

[name removed] was a fantastic host for my recent tour! The property is gorgeous and I love the variety of styles. She was knowledgeable and not in a hurry and answered all my questions.

When my husband wanted to move to Mon Abri, I thought it was the place I wanted to be “some day”, but I did not want to give up my house. We toured and toured. Over a year we saw multiple units, but I was still hesitant. Now we have been here for almost 2 years and I wonder why I waited. We have a lovely home with a patio and no maintenance. The staff here is amazing. The staff is amazing, the grounds are well kept, maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently, and most of all the people in the community are friendly and caring neighbors. I would make this move again in a heartbeat.

I am a resident here at Mon Abri. The service is very good. Maintenance is quick and there are activities every day. I enjoy playing games and doing the bingo. The homes are really nice and the pond has fish.

I’m am 95 years old and have lived at Mon Abri for 5yr and enjoy living here, I play the piano at our sing along, I enjoy games and the staff is friendly I would refer Mon Abri to anyone. Lots fun good food. I feel at home living here.

I have several friends who live at Mon Abri. The grounds are beautiful and they keep everyone very active. The staff and residents are all very close to each other and seem more like family. I am there often and it a happy place.

As the self designated mayor, I would highly recommend Mon Abri. I have been here for 9 years. The people here are great and it feels safe. We have awesome maintenance and a fun staff. Come visit and I know you will want to join us.

I have lived here over four years and it truly is home. My favorite part is the people and all of the activities we do together. I have several ladies who play cards and games with me daily and I love the line dancing!

I absolutely love living at Mon Abri! I feel safe, secure, and happy here. The staff is wonderful, and the maintenance team is awesome and always helpful. There are so many activities and opportunities to get involved, so there’s always something to do. I enjoy staying busy, meeting people, and being part of this community. I’m very happy to call Mon Abri home and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great 55+ community!

The community is the best! Everyone is so helpful and nice. The overall grounds are so pretty and well kept. Everyone needs to come check out Laurel Springs to come and live for people fifty five and older.

Warm welcoming community. Amazing staff. Plenty of activities that you can participate in or choose not to. Great food with back up menu if you don’t want today’s menu. On a quiet street that feels residential not commercial. A place you can feel right at home!

The staff are very caring and helpful. There are lots of activities if you want to participate. The building is a light and bright structure and is kept very clean. The pool is enjoyed from the atrium on one side of the dining room. My apartment is a lovely one bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom, spacious place. It is almost twice as large as my 400 sq ft park model I was living in before I chose to move to Verena. The residents are year round and not snowbirds leaving in the Spring. A breakfast buffet is served in the mornings and lunch/dinner is served at your table from 12-6 pm. There are lots of good choices for both meals.

I went with my Nana and we had many different places to look at but this was our first and only stop. The staff and other folks living there made us feel so special. She said this is home.

I have lived here for four years and really have nothing but praise for The Cottages of Monroe. There are tons of activities if you want to participate, ranging from movies, complete with popcorn and junior mints, to Bible study, exercise classes and monthly wine and cheese birthday parties. I love having all utilities included in my rent and there’s usually very little wait for the maintenance man when you need anything done, inside or out. The director and staff are exceptional. You’d love it here.

I came to see my friend for her 100th birthday party and boy was I impressed! The building was very clean and kept! We had some light snacks during live music for their happy hour! They have so many options as far as drinks go and watching so many people socialize with friends and every single person told my friend happy birthday! The staff were incredible, keeping everything a surprise and making sure we had a private room! It’s nice to see her happy and smiling and she feels a part of a family here! Thank you to the staff for making her feel so special.

The staff is wonderful. My apt is big. I love the neighborhood. They have helpful activities this week checking hearing aids,replacing batteries or any questions about your aids for hearing. They have shopping,grocery, the malls. I don't participate because I work. They have games,exercise at the pool. I love the trees,flowering trees the area is nice all the neighbors are nice. Water is FREE!

Enjoyed the tour and my mother decided to choose this one. Moving her in today and tomorrow. Sampled the food and was very good. Seemed to have plenty of activities.

We had a great tour and are excited to move in! We tried the food for lunch and it was excellent! Looking forward to finishing life here with my wife and meeting new people! The team was knowledgeable and helped me and my family every step of the way here.

I want to tell you about our recent visit to "Verena at the Glen". My wife and I have friends who are residents.We were invited to lunch with them recently and I must say the food was delicious and the facility is beautiful. We were later introduced to [name removed] (the Resident Experience Director) when I informed her that I was a member of a musical trio. [name removed] was kind enough to hire us (the Wild Honey Trio) to perform at two of their monthly birthday celebrations where they acknowledge everyone who has a birthday during the month. They receive a small gift and we sing happy birthday to the group. Verena has become one of our favorite places to play music and the residents really enjoy themselves. as a band, we love it when the audience interacts with us by dancing, singing along and having a good time! We are excited for the next time we can return.
