Brookdale

The staff is, to a person, very caring and helpful. My Mom is thriving there, enjoying daily activities like exercise classes, games, music, and bingo. She enjoys socializing with the other residents in the lobby (especially in the winter where there is a warm fireplace) and in the dining room during meals. Everyone there is very friendly and accepting.

We found their room size to be good for a couple. The staff worked with us when we had some private caretakers working with my parents and we have transitioned away from the outside caretakers and the Brookdale staff has taken over now and it is going great.

It's been a good experience so far for us, my mother turned 100 last month. Overall thoughts to date - Staff: Very friendly and kind, we've had no issues in that regard. Food: Excellent. Chef [name removed] does a great job putting out nutritious and consistently tasty meals. Cleanliness: my mother isn't able to see well or clean up after herself. There have been times when I've asked for some help in that area or have done things myself when I'm there. Overall it's been ok. Size: her room is small, but it works as she's unable to move around much.

They are so friendly and welcoming! I haven't met any staff that aren't positive and kind. My parents and grandmother are all thriving there . My grandmother wasn't real happy with the food .. but I personally haven't eaten there and she is a little picky

My mother is well taken care of their. The caretaker seem to know her and her personality. Her meals are balanced and they know she loves her sweets. The activities there are perfect for memory care needs.

I will move a love one here or myself love the view and homey feeling you get when you are there friendly and welcoming The environment is warm the food is great fish Friday and Wednesday is chicken day fried or baked love it the staff is like family and everyone knows your name

Facility is nice, clean and staff is friendly. My dad is well taken care of. I liked the place for mom experience as well. Filled out a form online and you all reached out and made it easy for our family.

[Name Removed] was excellent and showed me and the other ladies the apartments and other areas of Brookdale. During lunch, she was very patient with questions from us, ranging all over the place (she hardly got to eat!). I liked that physical therapy was on premises if needed. Brookdale is centrally located, which is a plus

They're a caring group of people. My brother is being well taken care of. We're pleased with where my brother is living. I would recommend Brookdale Charlotte East to others.

5's all the way down! My parents moved in 2 weeks ago and are very happy. The process of securing the unit and the move in could not have been smoother. Staff there are very professional and thoughtful and kind. My parents and I are recommending it to others at that stage of life.

Staff is amazing food is great. Activities could be a little more plentiful maybe more music. Mom feels very safe and happy there. I would absolutely recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for their loved one.

My sister-in-law is a resident of Brookdale, and she is very happy there. She especially enjoys the food and the Sunday movies as well as the convenience of the services received their from the visiting dentist, podiatrist and nurse practitioner.

I toured the facility with [Name removed] and it was an absolute delight. I loved everything about the facility and [Name removed] was such a joy to work with. Not only is she knowledgeable but she has so much compassion for her residents and future residents.

We actually haven't moved in yet so I am basing my comments on a couple of visits. I can say everyone is extremely helpful. The people are very friendly and welcoming. We had a delicious dinner one night and I think the apartment we got will be very good.

6. Unsure, I've never tasted any of it and my mom can never remember enough to give me feedback there. I've seen a few meals that looked unappetizing to me but my mom has never complained yet. I was disappointed to see baloney sandwiches on their menu for a dinner though. ?? 8. it's just so expensive, but I'm sure most places are and they are doing what I could no longer do. The only other thing I would add is that I don't get communication from the nurse practitioner that comes and checks on my mom's health every other week. I feel that I should be kept up to date with all her health checks. I shouldn't have to ask for the update. It should be part of the process.

Everyone one was nice and sound handled their work with care and trust. I would recommend others to come and join in on the fun they have there. And such friendly residents that could become life long friends

The staff keeps my wife very comfortable and the activities director keeps the residents occupied with games such as jeopardy, trivia pursuit, and bingo. They exercise in the morning and go out into the garden before it gets hot and have discussions. The facility is very clean and the food appears to be very good. They don't have an activities director on weekends so I make it a point to spend more time with my wife. So far I am very pleased.

Definitely 5 stars. The staff has treated my mom and myself as family. The activities keep her busy throughout the day and she enjoys going on the weekly outings for lunch. If there are any concerns I am immediately notified.

The staff was very welcoming. They explained mom's options for independent vs assisted living and apartment size along with amenity options. I would recommend Brookdale Gaines Ranch to others. They have a wonderful assortment of activities and special entertainment and programs.

I toured several places and really loved this community! It felt warm and friendly and the staff was great. We haven’t decided on what city we are moving mom but if we stay in meridian, we will choose Brookdale! Highly recommend!
