Care Partners Assisted Living

The memory care units are spacious. Large enough to accommodate a twin bed, nightstand, dresser, two living room chairs and end table, small two-chair dining, small refrigerator and TV stand.

We picked this place because it was reasonable cost & seemed like a good fit for my grandfather. I would say the experience was overall okay.

It's a very nice community. We picked this community, because other family lived here. They take care of patients, friendly, get them to meals, keep rooms clean. Talk to patients get them to talk, smile, laugh and be active within their capacity.

we toured Sunrise of Mercer Island and received an overall good impression. we chose another community because it outperformed Sunrise in all above categories. our loved one also knew someone at the other community, which always makes things easier.

We chose Care Partners Assisted Living because of all of the above rating questions. The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness, and activities they had compared to others we looked into. The room sizes are great, my mom happens to be in the biggest one. I have eaten here myself and the food was good quality and they had good portion sizes. The best part about the community would be the staff members and how clean it is. The only downfall is that my mom has had a couple of falls since she moved in here. I would recommend, especially for the area.

It is hard to get a good feel because the facility is new and is only half full. There was not much activity for it being mid morning. The setting on the edge of Hortonville is quite appealing, quiet and peaceful. [name removed] was quite helpful and was able to answer all of our questions. We would not rule this facility out, and are likely to go at meal time and chat with some of the residents.

I am happy with the needs for my father. The community is nice with good staff members who are caring and friendly. They do offer activities, but he is not participating at this time. The community is clean and well maintained. The menu is appealing. I would recommend the care and value to other families for a loved one.

One issue, I have encountered is reaching someone after hours, which can be difficult. They should offer services without being asked. one time, my loved ones laundry was not put away for a week or so, and was just sitting in the basket. There needs to be more communication between the different shifts, which would be nice. Overall, not being able to reach anyone in the evening, is my only concern. The phone just rings and rings, and there is no answering machine.

The staff is wonderful! They take excellent care of my mother and I am very happy with her care . I do not agree that everything is covered in the cost of the room, though- which is extremely expensive. You pay a cable bill, which to me is just silly- for the cost at thevery least throw in the cable ! Then the cost of care is adjusted as your parent gets more needy- also you pay a daily med fee. It's all in the monthly total, but it will go up unless your parent gets less dependent. Sunrise is friendly, loving, clean and caring. You get what you pay for - the staff take time w / the residents, too. I looked at a LOT of places. My mom 's happy and so am I :) Choose a place carefully.

memory care rooms were very small, no closet space at all

Before I brought my mother up here from Texas, I looked at a lot of places. I had only a few days to find options for my mom. Country Terrace was able to work on our timeline. They have done a good job with Covid-19. They have a high rate of staff turn over. The activities are limited. I don't think socialization and activities are high on the priority list. The meals are not up to standard it is more like sandwiches and hot dogs not healthy meals for seniors. It is hard to really tell with the lockdown due to Covid-19.

There was very little care help on duty. We even had to have a care helper give us a tour. We decided this was not a place for us.

Unfortunately, I had to move my Father out of this facility. I felt like this community didn’t fit him very well. There was something always lacking and it was never personal at all. It seemed like if you didn’t fit into the group, you were on your own. I also didn’t like that the individual attention was lacking. My dad is still very active and they would never take him for a walk. In October there were a few days that got into 80-degree weather and I went to the gate to take my Father for a walk, and it was locked. The facility seemed like they wanted the residents who were slower paced. Don’t get me wrong, the facility was really nice and the food was great but, they had no regards for things like laundry. My dad had bedding and clothing that didn’t even belong to him. I would recommend this facility to families who want a slower paced facility.

We had moved my father into this community, but he was not there long. The staff was nice and we were happy with the cleanliness. Activities are offered here. Families are recommended to see this community to make sure it is what they are needed for the care of a loved one.

A pretty location and nice building but their nursing staff needs to be overhauled. Our parent was very close to being diagnosed with sepsis (life threatening/rapid death) while in their care from an undiagnosed UTI. Come on people you know the signs of an UTI (or at least you should). There are other options on Mercer now. We moved our parent out of this facility.

I would not recommend the community to others. The food is of poor quality and options are limited. There is a lot of canned vegetables, and not enough healthy options. The manager isn't around to speak with if you have questions or concerns about your loved one.

the activies were great when they have them. cant always find a person to come in,,the bingo games are fun with nice prizes of good quality..the painting projects were enjoyablethe .funiture is dirty, at least the arm chairs look very dirty..go sit on one. the food is ok one day and then the next it can be total junk. staff on phone while doing cares. i saw one staff member vaping in the building..its the same as smoking if you ask me. stopped in after dinner one time and floor was not sweep and tables were smeared with food while residents sat at them visiting with each other. staff didnt look busy, so why didnt they clean off the tables?the staff try very hard to please. managment changes like the weather. but my family member was happy.

There is no WiFi here. Therefore was unable to play comforting music for family or resident.

We toured Care Partners while looking at options for my husband. The place was nice; it was a smaller setting with fewer people than some of the other communities we were looking at. We would have been interested in moving in, but the administrator who helped us was very nice, but was disorganized, ill prepared, and did not follow up with us. We decided to look elsewhere.

I was not impressed with my tour of this community. I walked through the community by myself, and nobody stopped me. Nobody approached me till I was leaving the community, and I didn't feel that was right. If I could just walk into the community, that means anybody can. It wasn't the facility for us.
