GoodLife Senior Living and Memory Care

My mom is a resident at GoodLife Senior Living Carlsbad and everything has been great! She's very happy now. I've even seen ads for this facility on TV. The staff is wonderful. The food could use switching, we all get tired of the same things. The housekeeping is great. My mom says that they are cleaning non-stop! I would recommend this facility to others!

I think the staff is great. My major issue is their billing. The only way to pay is by cash or check. No online system. I can't use credit cards. It seems very outdated and it's a major hassle.

A very home type welcoming atmosphere . From my observation very skilled caring staff, the handling of residents is gentle and careful. Yes, housekeeping is available. The extra curricular activities are great. They bring in families and residents seem to be comfortable and enjoy being there.

After touring several different assisted living facilities and being told they cannot accommodate someone who needs a two-person lift, my husband and I toured Goodlife Senior Living. We met with [name removed], the manager, and she was the first person to sit with us and tell us that everything can be worked out. She treated us with empathy and humanity during a very stressful time. The facility itself is very clean and feels more like a home than a facility. The private rooms are large and inviting with a private bath.

GoodLife is the only place I would want to put my loved one when the time comes for assisted living. Their staff is caring and knowledgeable. The environment is cozy and the food is good too! They have daily activities and family is always welcome. It is a great place.

Staff is always helpful with residents and their needs. There is always staff available for questions or concerns and residents seem to be well cared for. Staff always notifies if a resident is needing medical care that way it can be addressed in a timely manner.

I cannot say enough about how good the care is in this facility. All the residents are treated with love and care by all the staff. Everyone that works there has been so attentive every time I’ve been in both facilities. I would recommend their services to all my friends and family.

The staff is really sweet and helpful. They are quick to notice any oddities and remedy them as they need.

Staff is always very caring and loving to residents ! Even when dealing with difficult families, they always smile and ask if there's anything they can help with! Even thru new Mgmt, they always were attentive and helpful. They greet you at the door and treat you with respect and kindness! The residents are treated like family members, what else can you ask for! When residents decline their MGMT, efficiently and kindly help thru the process of Hospice or Home health appropriately. Making the transition for us as family members, easy as this is all new to us!

The people are great and so is the building - we get everything we need in order to get the job done and it's frankly refreshing to not have to fight management. The staff is so loving and accommodating. Those girls give their heart and soul to the residents. Would recommend this to all my peers.

We had a great experience with the care we received in our time at this house. The caregiver's staff, and clients became good friends with our family. I would and have recommended The Good Life to anyone who asks about senior care.

I think this place is amazing. Very nice manager and has great staff my mom lived here for like 2 years and said nothing but good compliments on everyone that works. Very hardworking staff. Keep up the great work.

I toured this community and it was really nice. It was clean, staff was friendly, everything looked great and I was pleased with it. It wasn't the best fit for my loved one's needs, but definitely a great looking place!

Everything is going well with GoodLife Senior Living, our loved one has hospice now and we were so grateful and appreciative that the staff at GoodLife were able to allow our loved one to stay in her room which she is familiar with and still receive the care needed. Everyone has been very helpful. This community is affordable for our family and we just can't say enough about how helpful and accommodating the staff have been. We would recommend GoodLife Senior Living to other families.

We love our experience here. The staff really care and love for my loved one. The staff communication with the family is excellent. We love the staff. My loved one enjoys the food served and the community provides three meals a day to the residents. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. especially with memory care needs.

GoodLife was the first facility that we went and looked at and we loved them right away. We then went and toured other places and none compared. They were the friendliest and the atmosphere was very comfortable and homey. The administrator is excellent as well as the nurse. They coordinate all of her medical care and go out of their way to include the family in everything. She has been here 3 months and we are so happy with the experience. I would absolutely recommend to others looking. The buildings are divided between assisted living and memory care. There are only 16 residents in memory care so the care individualized and there is also plenty of space for residents to walk around and for activities. They also have very good security for the buildings. The grounds are beautiful and well taken care of, they have a full time maintenance guy who takes care of everything and does an amazing job. We were nervous about having to move her when things get bad, but they assured us that they are able to care for residents until end of life. GoodLife is a real gem found in the northeast area.

The GoodLife Senior Living community has been fantastic, the staff are so personalized in everything they do. Everyone that works there is so friendly and do everything they can to make our loved one feel happy and at home. They go above and beyond when it comes to meeting the residents needs and they try their best to be as accommodating as possible for meal time. They have plenty of different activities going on - for Easter they had an Easter egg hunt where the residents could come outside and watch the kids that came to visit hunt for eggs. Based on our experience so far we would recommend them to other families.

My dad has been living at this facility for over 6 months. They have been so accommodating and caring. This is the second memory care place my dad has lived and the atmosphere is similar to a caring home. I'm glad I made the change.

It is very easy to get ahold of the Administrator and Nurse. They communicate very well with my sisters and I. We are all on the same page. The place is always clean with everything in its place when I visit. As my Dad's health deteriorates the care he receives changes as needed. I appreciate that very much. The facility is conveniently located by my home. The only thing I would recommend is more activities for the residents. Otherwise, I highly recommend this facility.

I am SO GLAD I chose Goodlife Assisted Living And Memory Care for my mom!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!! At first, I got in contact with Goodlife and went for a tour. I was AMAZED!! Aside from reasonable prices, the facility is immaculate and beautiful!! The staff is so friendly!! I signed my mom up right away!! They take GREAT care of my mom! They have a Doctor, a Podiatrist and a Psychatrist that visit every month! They have activities and celebrate all events and birthdays and holidays!! They meet and exceed all my expectations everyday! I have direct access to the nurse and administrator! The nurse is so professional, kind and loving to my mom and me. She keeps me abreast of EVERYTHING. The administrator is also very professional and kind as well! They make the facility feel like home! I couldn’t have asked for a better place for my mom!!
