My husband has only been there for a month. It is a great adjustment. Staff has been very helpful

[name removed] met us in conference room and offered us a cold drink or hot. We talked a bit and she found out what we were looking for and our interests. Briefly explained the culture at HF. We then walked around looking at the apartments.and facilities to include Assisted Care. She also took us to storage units and a room with a balcony. Explained finances

The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. There are a variety of activities and entertainment opportunities. It is easy to make friends. The food is good with two main course choices for lunch and dinner. There are optional outings. There is a gym with equipment for PT and OT. There are PT's, OT's, and speech therapists onsite. There is a bar, a beauty salon, and a movie theatre. Harbor Chase has a van that goes to Publix and Walmart weekly. Wednesday evenings the van transports residents to specific restaurants.

I think room size is adequate, and very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. They coordinate activities for residents and encourage participation. Are also respective of those who aren't as social as others. Dining room staff are helpful, and patient with the resident; nursing staff that I have dealt with are incredible.

Our experience was fantastic, though it was short-lived due to medical issues that required a higher level of care. I would consider HarborChase one of the top contenders in the area for future needs. I was on their waiting list for a while, and the experience lived up to my expectations. I wish we could still be at HarborChase. Our experience at HarborChase was fantastic. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the overall quality of care was excellent. While our stay was cut short due to changing medical needs, I would consider HarborChase a top contender in the area. I wish we could still be there!

Except she will run out of money. We have to move her. I would recommend 100%.

Harbor Chase living is awesome. People there are stupendous, particularly [name removed] in the cafeteria. She is absolutely delightful, fun and caring. Everyone knows [name removed] at Harbor Chase! If I could take her home with me, I would. She's a complete asset to Harbor Chase and I love to visit her as well as my mother-in-law. Harbor Chase has been a safe refuge and a wonderful place to live. Many friends many people many loving caretakers. I would recommend Harper Chase in Southlake to everyone

My Mom moved into the assisted living section but as her health declined we moved her into The Cove. We feel mom is getting the best care possible as there are eyes on her 24 hours a day. The staff does a great job keeping the residents entertained and stimulated. I visit everyday and see firsthand how much the staff cares.

Can not say enough about the care and attention my Mom gets. Always a pleasure to visit her there as well! Everyone is kind, and attentive. I highly recommend to anyone having to make a tough decision about their family member. This was an easy choice and so happy I did.

my father was in the memory care and we were just really appreciative of the cleanliness the shift change communication also enrollment was easy and clear and precise. sadly, my father ended up only being there for three weeks because his heart gave out on him, but I can't speak highly enough of the facility. The price was very, very reasonable maybe because it had just changed hands and they were trying to fill, but it was still affordable. Felt like I was driving up to a country club and the staff just were all really sweet, but it was the front desk to the staff in memory care.

All categories are a "5" rating. Our experience was great. My interactions and guidance from "A Place for Mom" was valuable and exceptional, as well. Haven't seen your ads on TV lately. I hope that's because the word has traveled and you are helping lots of people. Your services are very much needed.

Ask about nursing coverage. Is a nurse on site 24/7? Ask for a check list of services provided at each level of care and review that list with the HC point person and the potential new resident. Ask how or what they do to help new residents acclimate and be introduced to the other residents. These places are clicky like high school. New residents really need a couple of older residents to befriend them early on.

The staff are wonderful and very attentive to my brother's needs. He is happy with the facility.

What I like most about the community is they go out of their way to make the new resident comfortable and get acclimated to the new environment.

My father no longer resides there because of the heavy increase in rent (8-9%) and he could not afford it any longer. So I don't know that I can fairly answer that one objectively. It is friendly atmosphere with a wide variety of activities. The staff is very kind and always helpful.

My mom moved into a lovely apartment at HarborChase 3 months ago and already everyone knows her name and greets her warmly when they see her! I'm relieved to know that she's got staff to help her 24/7 and that, otherwise, she can be independent and make her own schedule. Housekeeping comes weekly and the entire building is maintained beautifully. Staff is also approachable and quick to help in any way when I have a question. While it's a challenge for her to be in a new community, she's starting to find new friends at mealtime. When I visit, I sometimes eat in the dining room with her ($[fee removed] cost to me per meal) and I find the food adequate. My only real suggestion is that staff be more consistent with wearing name tags. It's impossible for my mom to learn names without seeing the tag because of memory issues. And I think it helps me, too, to learn names. That said, I'm extremely impressed by the director and the sales director of HarborChase along with the front desk staff! Thank you!!

Naturally, we were not sure how our mother would, at 88 years old, transition from independent living to assisted living. However, she has done wonderfully. It's hard to understand just how lonely our parents can be when living alone and losing friends, family and even pets. As a member of the Harbor Chase family, she is treated with great dignity and respect and has made so many friends on both the staff and among her fellow residents. We live 5 minutes away, but sometimes she has trouble fitting us in for a visit as a result of her wonderful meals and activities. We all wish that our parents could remain independent forever, and it's very difficult when they/we realize that they may need help with life's tasks, but we now know that there was nothing to fear. She is very happy and feeling safe and loved. We are very grateful.

All of them a 5 I was really please with the exceptional care, the food and the whole facility and I have recommend the community to other families. It was wonderful to not be worried or stressed about my father's care. The staff there took care of everything. From the move-in, to the transition to Hospice, until his passing. It was handled by a friendly, caring, professional, well trained staff. The facility and my father were well taken care of. I would highly recommend them. We really appreciate all everyone has done. Admin trade staff is wonderful. Other people might want to know how well they coordinated with hospice so that my dad could stay in his room and not be transferred. We were only there for 2 months before he passed

The care services were not needed and our loved one did not attend the activities. We only used the facility for 2 weeks or so we can't really evaluate the value for cost. Yes, we would recommend HarborChase of Branford to other families based on the experience
