This was a wonderful place for our father. The nurses, resident assistants, chefs, receptionists, house cleaners, maintenance crew, administrators and onsite Legacy therapists all were so helpful, caring and knowledgeable. We can’t thank them enough for all they did for us. Great atmosphere! Residents seem happy.

My Mom has been very pleased with everything at Palos Verde independent living. The staff has been A+ from the start! Mom has enjoyed her apartment, which is much smaller than her home she left. Simpler living feels safe for her and less stressful. She has enjoyed the food and feels there is a variety on the menu to choose from. Mom has had more social events in the last 5 weeks than she has had in these past two years. It’s so fun to hear what she has done each week when we visit. My siblings and myself are so pleased and would highly recommend Palos Verde.

My in-laws love it here at Shawnee Hills Senior Living. The facility is so clean and the people that work there are so helpful. The food is delicious too! We love that they are living there.

[name removed] who is the sales director has just been amazing and head administrator [name removed] is great, he always comes around to check in on the residents and answer any questions or concerns we may have. Every time we come to visit the meals always smell so good and there are a ton of different activities going on for the residents. All of the staff members have been super helpful and pleasant to work with. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families

We toured Westerville Senior Living; it was a great tour experience and first impression. At the time, they could not provide the level of care my loved one needed.

We chose Westbrook because of the cleanliness of the facility, the activities that were offered, and when looking at their menu the food looked fantastic. Since moving in, both of my parents absolutely love the food. After speaking with the staff, they follow through with everything that they say they are going to do. My parents are in independent living living and if they ever need anything the staff respond right away. We are very happy with our experience and would definitely recommend Westbrook to others.

Creve Coeur is a very nice facility. I would say that it is a step up from the place that we ended up going with. We just felt the accommodations and the value for what we got was better at another place, but this looked like a great facility to have a loved one.

My loved one is well taken care of. I would encourage someone to go to this community. It is very well managed and we have to keep into consideration that there is a shortage or people in this field but these staff are handling it well. They are doing the best that they can and managing it. They are doing great.

Las Palomas Senior Living is an excellent place to live, and all of the staff members are wonderful. This community is so safe, you do not even have to lock the doors on your apartment. The people down stairs at the front desk have cameras. My apartment is lovely I have a balcony with a sliding door that looks out over a putting green with a fountain. This is my forever home, I am not going anywhere. The food here is incredible, it is chef prepared and just delicious. Breakfast is free and you can pretty much get whatever you want. We also can have meetings where we can request new items and so hopefully here soon we can get some sugar cereals like Lucky Charms and Captain Crunch. Everyone is able to pick off the lunch and dinner menu but there is also a separate menu if you do not like what is being served that day. Right now we are in the spring menu that includes everything from fresh salads, fruits, burgers, BLT's. The off menu has choices like pastas, fish, sandwiches, soups of the day, pasta salads, macaroni salads and egg salads. You name it the menu has it. Also the chefs makes a warm brownie sundae that is just incredible. We also have a ton of different activities here - we are able to go out on different day trips, the pool just opened up for the season for water aerobics. We have happy hours where you can get a glass of wine and they will bring in live entertainment - we recently had a juggler come in. Also a zoo near by brought some animals to the community for us to all see. This community is always dog and car friendly and they have accommodations for them. Another neat thing here is everyone who lives here knows about the Owl that lives on the grounds. We can hear him woot all day long and it is just so neat. It is a really warm and happy environment. It is also a very well built building.

I was able to have an in person tour and based on the tour experience I was very impressed. All of the staff members I met were very nice and attentive.

We chose Shawnee Hills because of the location, it is close to my house. My mom is experiencing a little bit of dementia but she does not need physical assistance and they were really good about working with residents that are in that in between. I wish they had more activities provided, they do get cancelled a lot. The facility is a perfect size so staff are able to keep a good eye on residents. I would recommended them to others looking.

I loved this community for my loved one. We wished that we did not have to leave this community but had to due to my loved ones needs.

This was a great community. They offered all care types. My loved one wanted a view of the mountains, and this was the downfall as they didn't have any balconies.

I want to give a shout out to the care givers at the Enclave. If you are looking for a place that gives phenomenal care and has some of the best activities around, hands down this is the best in the Austin area. I want to give a special thanks to the caregivers who looked after my Dad and a big thanks to [name removed], the RCC, who was available at the drop of a hat to help and support my Dad, Mom and our family. My mom really likes it here. She's not a fan of the food so much (she says breakfast is fine, but dinner sits too long and isn't fresh). But everything else at Palos Verdes she likes. She's had no complaints about the staff. She says everyone is nice. And she really likes her apartment.

Excellent staff committed to resident comfort, cleanliness and pain management. Throughout the organization - from the reception staff, marketing/sales personnel, dining room team, housekeeping, caregivers and med techs - all gave strict adherence to resident privacy during an extremely difficult time involving hospice care. Our family could not have asked for better care and kindness.

Palos has been all the things I heard it would be. The staff are excellent to work with. They provide a monthly report on how my loved one has done. When I visit the staff keep me updated and speak to any concerns they have and how to resolved these. There are three meals a day provided. They have shrimp, pizza, salmon, burgers, and more for the residents to choose from. There are snacks available for the residents to grab. Changing of linens, the room, laundry service, housekeeping, and all the meals are included in the monthly fee. The room is able to accommodate a bed, dresser, and there are two closets for the residents to keep their belongings in. There is a podiatrist that comes on as needed basis to see the residents. TV, garden center to plant items, enclosed patio, holiday and special day themes, movie theater, and more are some of the activities available for the residents to participate in. They have a game room as well that includes games, puzzles, and more. There are entertainment groups that come to entertain the residents.

I couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience my mom had during her time at Westbrook’s Memory Care. The decision to move a loved one to a full time residency is hard, but the staff at Westbrook were amazing! From their director, to the daily care givers and housekeeping staff, their commitment to their residents is top notch. We felt so much love and appreciation for our family that we knew it was the right choice. During the most difficult times, they were supportive and communicative which really goes a long way. I would highly recommend this location to any family making this move for their loved ones.
