My father loved the smaller feel of this community. It felt warm and welcoming every time we visited. His apartment was large enough for him to feel comfortable each and every day. He has loved every day since moving into the community. He appreciates everyone looking out for him even when he goes out for a drive on his own. With me being so far away I have peace of mind now knowing he’s not alone and I am forever grateful to them.

My Dad is the one staying there the thing he voices the most is that he feels like the other residents aren't as active as he is. I guess that they have more mobility issues than he does so I don't know if there's a way to start like a thinking club or something like that

I didn’t know that this type of place existed. Independent living that offers additional help for those who need it but are not yet in need of assisted living. The staff here are passionate about helping their residents and helping them find the right caretakers to fit the needs of the individuals. The caretakers are an additional cost but still not as costly as assisted living and you can use them as needed. Having a community of people for socializing, meals provided, and activities scheduled has been a blessing since I live out of town and can’t be there to keep eyes on them.

While the food good be a little better, the atmosphere it is served in excellent! We would definitely recommend Elance at Tuckahoe to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

I rate all of them a 5. I love it here and have made many new friends including the office staff and the dining / Cleaning staff. They are all gracious, helpful, always there for anyone and never have a frown. My husband of nearly 50 years passed away in March and the condolences, hugs, and comments of their love for him made his death much more tolerable than it might have been. I'm blessed to be here and wouldn't think of going anywhere else, even though my 2 children offered their homes to me. Thankfully, they both live nearby so I can see them if/when I want. I would tell others to just ask all the questions you can think of. Quite often, folks move in and don't read all of the contract or aren't always updated on dining room details, housekeeping details, etc. I asked and felt well informed.

My parents cannot stop saying how friendly all the employees are. They absolutely love living at Smokey Springs. They love their Military Veterans. My folks have a 1 bedroom. That has a larger living room with a smaller bedroom. Very comfy unit.

The staff at Laurel Glen at Carrollton are all very kind, friendly and helpful. The apartments are very roomy and laid out well.

It's okay if you can afford it they charge for everything these places are not cheap.

The Blake at Flowood is a great community. Everyone here is extremely easy to work with and talk to. No where is going to be perfect, but they’re trying. Any issue I had was listened to with open ears and the task was jumped on immediately. They have really improved their staff and care lately. My great aunt was taken such care of up until her final days. There’s no where else I would have rather her taken her final breath.

When I found this community, I really wasn't sure it was for me.The staff and managers are so nice they will do anything to help you. The chef s are try very hard to please everyone. Improving very day. But the community itself is wonderful!. People are smiling ,laughing and watching out for each other. I have been here 3 months and I call Haywood Estates HOME.

Awesome place!!! My mother loved it there. Great staff, food is getting better!! Sure going to miss seeing the staff now that mom’s gone. Highly recommend!!! Pricy… so well worth it!! My mom and sister in laws mom were both residents!

My Mom loves it there. Friendly people and [name removed] is great. So helpful. O’Neal does so much for the residents. The food is wonderful and Mom is gaining weight which she definitely needed after having a rough bout of pneumonia before moving in

We have been delighted with our experience. They truly helped my sister and me find a place for our mom. Our mom is so happy at Deepwood Estates! They made this huge decision a lot easier for our family. Thank you again for your help; we could never have found such a great place on our own and without your guidance.

I am currently a resident at Holiday Deepwood Estates and everything about the experience here has been great for me so far. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The staff and value for cost are great. Everything, in all areas, is great. I would definitely recommend Holiday Deepwood Estates to others.

Very nice staff. Gorgeous location. New owners recently took over and renovations are beginning. Most of the staff appear to have stayed on through ownership changes. My mom feels safe and secure there.

My loved one is currently a resident at The Blake at Charlottesville. Overall, The Blake has been a wonderful experience. They have made some really good changes. We have a monthly meeting with the director and she listens to our questions and provides good feedback. So far, I am very pleased. I would recommend The Blake at Charlottesville.

The facility itself is clean, inviting, and conducive to individual needs. The staff, in many ways, became like family because of their professional care and honest concern for my loved one. The food is excellent and I enjoyed many meals. The administrative staff is accommodating to individual needs and maintains a welcoming feeling tone throughout the facility. The maintenance staff is always making improvements and fixing any issues that arise. There is no question that the cost is money well spent. As for activities, there are many and appropriate. The staff goes out of their way to be inclusive. My loved one was in Memory Care for over a year and a half and I loved going into New Haven regularly.

Practically new building, staff willing to work with you, continuing care, good location. Even though this was for my brother, I would consider it for myself.

The staff at Sunrise At Siegen was very helpful and caring in setting up the accomodations & care levels that our mother and aunt needed. So happy that they were able to share a suite. [name removed] was very kind and helpful when we came to look and with handling all the daily activities since we moved them in. [name removed] was very helpful with our move in experience as well. Our move-in happened very quickly. Lovely place and lovely people. Our mother and aunt are adjusting well thanks to the care of all the wonderful staff and nurses. We enjoyed the lovely Mother’s Day brunch . The food was delicious and everyone was so nice. We greatly appreciate their kindness and helpfulness in taking care of our loved ones .

I am so pleased I made the choice to move from my home in North Myrtle Beach, SC to Whealdon Estates in Baton Rouge, LA! I had been living alone for 15 years and my family here wanted me close to them. We did due diligence and read reviews, did virtual tours, and finally visits. Whealdon is located in a bustling area of the city where crime rate is very low. It’s convenient to anything and everything. Keeping a car or Whealdon assisted transportation gets residents to doctors, shopping, etc. First, the friendliness of the residents was delightful. Second, the staff and administration won me over because of their desire to help. Third, the daily activities offer such a variety of choices. One can choose to remain close to the apartment and/ or participate in the activities. Whealdon is not glitzy or glamorous. The building is aging but gracefully. I am so happy living here. I regret I didn’t make this choice earlier. This is truly a family who cares and loves.
