What we really like about Brookdale Saginaw is the staff, they are awesome! I kept telling them that they are all Angels. The meals, the activities, the community and keeping things clean are other things we like. Based on our experience so far we would recommend Brookdale Saginaw to other families looking for a place for their loved ones.

The staff are very helpful and friendly, they keep us informed regarding any changes or issues with my loved one's care. My loved one speaks highly of the food. I would recommend this facility to family and friends, they seem to really care about the residents.

We chose Brookdale Midland because the staff that worked there all had nursing experience. They are all very knowledgeable and know things about my dad and what his likes and dislikes are.

They have taken very good care of my mother, she is end stage dementia and arrived in very bad shape from the previous facility. Her CNA [name removed]at Serene Gardens should get a medal! A raise for sure, she immediately assessed my mother when she got there and said she would do everything in her power to get my mother's skin infections and sores under control and she looked me straight in the eyes and promised she would and that she would be cared for properly at Serene. So far she has! The rest of the staff that helps care for my mother are also amazing. The food is not the greatest but not the worst either. Reminds me of school cafeteria food. A lot of seniors don't have much of an appetite to begin with, so nutrition needs to be appealing.

My Mother has lived at Pineview for close to 2 years, and it has been absolutely wonderful for her! The staff truly feel like family, and they do so much more than care for the residents. The people that live there are rarely alone in their rooms, instead they gather together in the main living rooms for crafts, movies, puzzles and music therapy. The facility is immaculate, and the food would rival that of most local restaurants. We couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect place for our Mom. The best part is she really does refer to it as "home", which is such a comfort to us!

The staff is all very friendly it is very clean. Whenever we call for assistance you always have to leave a message and usually do not get a returned call until after 3 or 4 calls. Overall it's a great place

We had a great tour experience with Serene Gardens of Sterling Heights. The facility was beautiful, the rooms were clean and very nice. The downfall was how large the facility was. It might be good for someone in assisted living, but for someone with dementia who would get lost easily, I do not think it would be a good fit. The price was decent comparatively.

I experienced your facility for a family fall event. Was so impressed with the staff for their kindness to the residents and families. Also, the grounds and buildings are beautiful inside and outside. Was so impressed with everything. Also the executive director was very informative and kind.

Our family was faced with having to make an emergency placement of our father & mother in April of this year. We live 2,500 miles away so do not have any local connections or people who could have helped us find a great place. We are so blessed that The Cottage of Davison was able to take both parents and keep them together. The staff treated them with love and respect and made sure that every need was taken care of. Everyone from the cooks to the facility manager treated my parents like they were their own. The facility was always clean and orderly and the staff was always engaged with the residents whether it was doing crafts or helping with exercise. They always made themselves available when ever we were able to visit. [name removed] and [name removed] went out of their way to help us set up zoom meetings when we couldn't be there and sent videos to us. Everything was great with Brookdale Saginaw. They could not have been more helpful during the whole transition period. They were very friendly and understanding. She was in memory care and it looked to me like they really tried to engage residents both socially and activities wise. For example they sent a picture of her working in the garden. Not being isolated is very important for dementia residents. From a care standpoint they were really on their game. I would absolutely recommend this facility to others.

I am very satisfied with the community. The community is clean, has a home feeling, and a friendly environment. The staff communication with the family is very personable about our loved one and they are responsive to our questions. There are three meals a day served to the residents. Some of the care the community provides includes dressing, assistance medication management and hygiene care.

Serene Gardens has been an amazing experience so far we have nothing but great things to say about all of the staff members there. On the day our loved one was moving in there was a mix up with the person who arranged the move in date and property manager - they were not ready for our loved one but they worked some things out and took our loved one in. They went above and beyond to make sure they were able to accommodating up They also have worked with us financially and we would recommend this community to other families.

Our experience was wonderful with Brookdale. They were willing to give the family a tour immediately, and had availability immediately for my loved one as well. They were willing to accommodate the needs of the residents on an individual basis. There were three meals a day served to the residents and they had choices to choose from. They even offered the family meals during meal time if we were there. The staff would bring meals to the resident's room if the resident didn't feel like going to the dining room. The staff communication was always available to answer the family's questions.

I would just say it is a beautiful facility. The staff go above and beyond. The food is absolutely excellent. Facility is extremely clean as it is very new.

I would highly recommend this community. The staff there are well trained and caring. They follow up well they are just really dedicated people. We love it here at this community. My loved one is not able to participate in the activities but they always have things going on for the residents. Tomorrow is a spa day and they will do nails and massages and more. They have activities like memory games, craft projects, happy hour and more there is just always something going on. I cant speak highly enough of them and it just feels like home they are so caring and concerned about her I know that she is taken care of.
