My brother and I are pleased with the care that this agency is providing. My mom seems to be getting along very well with the caregiver. She is very professional shows up on time and does what needs to be done. The agency is very easy to get ahold of if needed.

My brother and I decided to work with Home Care Assistance for multiple reasons but the main one being that our mother is incontinent and isn’t able to really care for herself. The caretaker that we have has been wonderful, and funnily enough is a previous student of my dad’s! My brother is usually the one that brings food for mom, but the caretaker is amazing keeping her bathed and everything clean and even talks with her about sports. My brother and I feel like, for the money we spend, this is definitely the best care we could’ve chosen for mom and I would recommend this to anyone looking for something other than a retirement community. This really helps my brother and I with being able to live our own lives but also know that mom is getting the care she needs and deserves.

[Removed] was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The caregiver provided seems to be well qualified for the job and seems to be managing a difficult situation with my mother quite well.

This agency is very good. They keep the appointments the caregivers are always on time. They are consistent with who they send it is the same person during the week and then there is a rotation on the weekend which is fine. The caregivers always come prepared. They are always willing to do what is necessary to provide the right care for my mom. They are always friendly and pleasant and professional.

The agency has always been quite willing to work with us to find the right placement. They have been very responsive and easy to work with. The male attendant we currently have is awesome. He knows what to do, how to do it, doesn't shy away from things to be done. He feeds my Dad well balanced meals, helps him with bathing and exercising. We are all very happy with him.

They were very professional, prompt, and responsive in setting up the home care in a short period of time. They worked with my in-laws getting them to accept they care that they really needed. They were available 24 hours.

Thank you for the wonderful care you gave to our father and for the beautiful flower arrangement. You made a difficult time go smoothly with respect and dignity.

For the most part, we have been happy with the service. They have been willing to work with us. My mother has some of the same caregivers going to her home. We would like for it to be just one, but we like a most of the ones that regularly go.

We did not use this service. We wanted someone to be able to move into our home to help take care of my mom.This service was good, but not able to find someone at the time when we needed someone as soon as possible to be able to move it. We might possibly use them later at some point. I would recommend them to other families.

I was looking for help around my house and rides to get to my appointments. It is difficult for me to walk. I called this agency and briefly talked with them about their pricing and abilities. I did not end up choosing them but they seemed like they would be suitable

The Home Care Assistance of Grand rapids has very knowledgeable staff. The paperwork was very easy to understand. During my tour the caregivers i met were very nice and courteous. The services offered seemed very interesting. Meals are available for the residents in the community.

Everything is working out pretty well for me with this home care agency. The care giver's they have sent out have been great. They help me with some cooking, light cleaning, and some personal care. It has been a good experience so far. I would recommend this home care to anyone.

Attention to mom, felt they had their priorities in order, good overall care. Lots of rotation between caregivers for us, a bit frustrating.

Just used them once for a visiting realtive, and was very happy with the results. Would definitely recommend them to other people.

Katie [Rmoved] with HCA was very compassionate and helpful in discussing our needs and setting up our interview with a supervisor in the area. We had another very positive experience with the supervisor and did start with a caregiver 2x per week. Unfortunately my mother balked at having someone come into the house ( as we had feared) and my father felt he had to let the caregiver go after 2 weeds.. I thought the caregiver Vicki was lovely and would recommend HCA to a friend. I would also try to use this agency in the future should we decide to try again.
