I give them a three for the one girl who is really good. I can't seem to get a reliable person to come out for two of the three days I need. I do have one girl that we love, but that's only one third of what I need.

My mom only had the caregiver once and she wasn't happy with her. We didn't have a problem with the company it self however, they sent us someone that my mom didn't connect with, when she was already not to happy with the idea of someone coming to assist her.

I call Kristin, the district manager I guess, and she never calls back. When we started out she found a new girl, she worked in a hamburger joint but had her CNA, brand new I guess, we got her and she was a very pleasant little girl but they offered her some kind of manager position at the hamburger joint. So then we got a girl whose been taking care of a woman upstate, Jean is her name and Jean is a terrific woman, she has a lot of experience. We weren't sure about some scheduling and pay checks, we agreed to do it by month but she misunderstood that so she sent the whole shmear down to me from the beginning. I finally called district headquarters, I called Atlanta and they said "no problem, we'll send you a monthly bill" so just little things all added up. The biggest disappointment was that little girl going and reliability and the question of the billing; there wasn't any doubt it would all get sorted out but I don't have time to do all of that.

Our experiences with this home care agency were a fair one. We did have to stop it because it was becoming expensive. The care givers they sent out were decent. I had one issue with one care giver, she wanted me to lie in regarding her time being there. I didn't like being put in that type of situation. Also I found out from one the care givers they only paid 9.00 an hour, but the agency told me they get 20.00 per hours. I just felt like there was some dishonesty on their part.

123 home was ok, but ever since the keys take over it as been the worst agency, that I worked for in my 13 years being a CNA. You can never get someone on the phone to address your concerns, or if you have a problem. Your paycheck will be short every week,so you have to basically do your own payroll every week to make sure it’s not short.

I’m not impressed with this agency. They really aren’t interested in finding you someone that can work with you long-term. They sent 8 caregivers within a week and a half. A couple of the caregivers seemed really great, but the problem was the agency would take them away and put them wherever there was more money available. They don’t give you straight answers about things and you really can’t trust what they say. They’ve even sent me caregivers that were in their 70s. They couldn’t do anything! I needed someone to help my mom and they couldn’t even do that. I would ask them not to send that caregiver again and the very next week, they sent the same person. You never talk with the same person, it doesn’t seem like anyone is in charge, and you have to call several times just to confirm details. They would send people out that lived too far from us and I’d ask them not to send me people that were too far but they wouldn’t listen. They don’t take an interest and they don’t even call to see how things are going. They’re not sending caregivers, they’re just sending senior companions. The only good thing about this agency is that they’re 24 hours and they send someone when you need them. I would not recommend them to anyone

I tried to use 123 Homecare, but nobody showed up. It happened twice. I was disappointed, and it left me in a tough spot. Jordan was very nice, and sincere, and friendly. I didn't like that we had to pay up front, that kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I would rather have liked for them to do the work and then I would pay for it, especially since nobody came out.

I engaged with HCA primarily for the in home care of my aunt, who is highly functioning with dementia. I was told that for a 24 hour, 5 day weekly schedule we would most likely have 4 caregivers (three shifts and one floater). Over 10 weeks we had 15 different caregivers, even though we went to a 12 hour, 5 day weekly schedule after two weeks. Those care givers had widely different levels of skill, experience, and commitment. There were three that I would describe as having all of the key caregiver qualities: skill, care, a sense of responsibility and dedication. One caregiver took my 90 year old aunt on a walk in 30 degree weather without a hat or scarf or gloves, I am convinced in order to fulfill the exercise requirement. I went with HCA primarily because of their cognitive therapy program. They did not start that program with my aunt for well over a month (they told me because there was a patient evaluation and training to be completed, they told their caregiver it was because they didn't have the materials available). They were more then 20 minutes late 4 times in the first 12 days of service. Two of their caregivers fell asleep on my couch while my aunt watched television. In short, I think this agency has a good program but does not have a staff of caregivers to enact that program in a way that is beneficial for the person who needs care.

I was having a surgery and I needed an in-home caregiver for 24 hours to assist my husband. The man they sent showed up a day early and he even parked in my garage which I thought was a little presumptuous of him. He came back the next day and he was very sweet and compassionate. The caregiver was unfortunately, not feeling physically well and was not in a good condition to take care of my Husband. Instead of getting the rest I needed from my surgery, I had to take care of two grown men. The man did sleep in our house and by the time he got up I had already showered and clothed my loved one. Then, he decided to ask me for a cup of coffee. At that point, I asked him to leave. The agency was not a good fit for us and I would not recommend them to other families.

I don't know how they can command the amount of money they charge for all the things they did not do or did not know how to do. We had care givers that would fall asleep on the third shift when they were supposed to be making sure my husband did not aspirate while sleeping, they would be watching T.V. with my husband leaving me to do the housework even when I asked for their help. They did not respect our property.

Very disappointing experience. From first day of caregiver services through refund, I would never recommend 123.

After booking Home Care Assistance for my loved one , a week later It had went out of business.

They did show up on time, but one of the people they sent clearly did not have the skill level of a CNA. They didn't even have the basics of toileting, and cleaning. The agency didn't seem to have our needs down very well. We parted ways with the agencies. I wouldn't recommend them for anything but companionship. I am giving them the one, only because some people came out.

There were some issues with reliability. I found that the caregivers were unprofessional. I didn't like the sales presentation or the pressure. They kept a binder of communication that was supposed to stay in the house, to keep time and what was done during the day, and the caregiver was taking it with her. I never really knew if I was paying for the right amount of hours. Really this was not a good experience.

Caregiver stole from my mother and no police report was done. Owner just paid me off and theif continued to work there.

I was very unhappy with the Home Care Assistance caregivers they are slip-shot, unprofessional, just walk-in the house, milling around the house not staying in the room where my mother was even no shows with no one to replace them. All the caregivers they have sent just did not follow my instructions. One was bossy, mean to my mother and my mother did not like her. I stopped their service and I have worked out things on my own. My mom is now living in my home with a live-in nurse who cares for my mother 2 days a week and my family and I take care of her the other days. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Many caregiver late arrivals, early departures, and missed shifts with days of advance notice. Look around. Other services provide guaranteed uninterrupted coverage with ultimate safety in mind.

No one here seems to no anything about home care at all. rude staff and very unorganized. Seem to not have inkling as to any dementia issues or care plan for same. Horrible experience here
