Brookdale

This facility went over and beyond to help me understand the transition from independent living to assisted living. Made me very confident with the decision and will always appreciate their helpfullness and kindness in taking care of our mom.

They are wonderful people and truly care about their residents. A+, 5 Star Care from the staff in the Office, food service and custodial service. The residents appear to be caring and concerned for one another's well being. I do recommend it as long as the resident is not in need of constant assistance.

My dad seems to like the place and it was the only facility within his budget that had a one bedroom as opposed to a studio. The staff is very helpful when attending to his needs. I would recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for their loved one.

The experience has been great so far. The staff are excellent, cheerful, helpful, supportive, overall wonderful.

The staff is friendly and professional. The food is tastes great, has variety, fresh and has many healthy options.

The staff is wonderful. They are very involved with residents. There are activities and interactions throughout the day. The food is good, medications dispensed on time. The public areas are clean and bright. Rooms are nice sized but I'd only give a C for cleanliness of the residents rooms.

The staff have been amazing from the start and continue to be available for my Mother's needs. The facility is kept clean as well as the apartment Mother lives in. I see activities going on frequently including residents who gather together on their own to work on projects. The information of upcoming events is posted monthly and daily so the opportunity is there for everyone. The food is prepared and served restaurant style. Mother's apartment is a good size for her to live comfortably. I'm quite familiar with Brookdale because I am there 4 to 5 times a week spending hours on the property. The outside of the facility is well maintained and looks homey due to the large trees and welcoming entrance. Residents I have met seem to enjoy their home there.

The staff is great, the food is great, the apartment size is great, the place is clean. I have no complaints at all, it's been a great experience so far. I would absolutely recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for their loved one.

[name removed] and [name removed] was excellent, they touched base with me several times , [name removed] set up a virtual tour of the place, which helped me a lot. I thought the room size was great, I bought twin bed , recliner, chest, floor lamp, TV. The bathroom was good size, closet was very big with wire shelving, I was pleased with how new and clean everything was

I would give them all a five we are very happy with everything my mother in law doesn't partake in the activities so I really can't speak for that. The apartment size is bigger than we thought lots of closet space. All of the staff there is very friendly. The amazing thing is the other people that stay there are very friendly and helpful. They seemed to be always smiling.

I am pleased with the facility. Having Mom there has given me peace of mind as she ages. I would recommend Brookdale Norman to other families.

Our overall experience has been wonderful. The staff is very courteous and friendly. Their maintenance guy hung my Aunt's tv and curtains for us and their landscaping crew saw my wife unloading her car and volunteered to help her unload a bed frame and two end tables.

My FIL just went this week. So far we have been very pleased and staff has been helpful. Transition went well from nursing home to assisted living. Hoping that it is a perfect fit for him. He is 99 years old. His mind is very good but some times balance not great and hard to walk.

The value for cost is a 4 but then there isn't any facility that is affordable really and then IF it was affordable then the rest of the care would probably be bad. My dad loves the food (and he was a cook in the air force and always has loved to cook) it took him a couple months to settle in but now he calls it home and the staff have been wonderful and understanding. The administrative staff have always answered all my questions. As of now we are very happy with Brookdale

I am extremely happy with Brookdale. I think it is the right place for my husband. Brookdale is very lovely and clean. The chairs and loveseats in the living areas are comfortable and the décor is geared to coziness and warm memories. The studio apartment is a moderate size but residents are encouraged to explore the larger rooms for crafts. puzzle making. T.v. watching, movies and other programs. There is a center open air patio with a gazebo, tables with umbrellas and outdoor furniture. Some residents enjoy car0ing for the plants and flowers. I often find my husband out there. While i mentioned the room is not large he does have a bed, nightstand, chest of drawers , recliner and round side table. two lamps and personal items make it comfortable. We also added a clock and small tv. He says the food is good , high praise from a picky eater. I forgot to mention his room has a large closet and a bathroom. All members of the staff are trained in caring for dementia patents and there are only 28 current residents in the house [name removed] lives in. Brookdale is divided into two side by side houses. Claire and Bridges. Claire are able to do more activities and benefit from memory enhancing programs. Bridges residents are further caling in dementia progression but still receive a lot of great care and enriching activities. It is the right place for [name removed].

The staff we spoke with were very nice. Explained the facility and what was entailed with memory care. We took a tour, they answered all of our questions and some we didn’t know to ask. Very happy with everything we saw. In process of getting our mom evaluated and having her somewhere we know she will be safe and have people to keep her engaged and busy.

Excellent appearance. - clean, well appointed, nice decor. Friendly helpful staff. Good menu for meals, very large, varied activities, entertainment one of the best residences out of five toured so far.

Brookdale has a 'Support Group' that meets monthly which is great. This gathering time of sharing experiences is unmeasurable in providing help, advice and comfort. A family develops from this support, that encompasses your own family member with the other residents and families, as well as, the Brookdale staff. My mother passed away on [date removed], but I am left with fond memories of the time she was at Brookdale. It is a difficult time when your love one needs more help than you can provide. Brookdale provided support, patience and professionalism.

Tour with [name removed] was excellent. She covered all aspects of the facility explaining in detail and answering all questions. Very kind, courteous and caring. The facility is beautiful , very clean and all staff very pleasant. Great amenities for residents.
